The Norwegian Public Roads Administration invites contractors and suppliers to a market meeting 20 October 2026 at 9:30 a.m. at the Quality Airport Hotel Stavanger. Register via KGV by 30.09.2026 with information on how many participants from the contractor/consultant, their position and contact information (Name, email). The aim of the project E39 Smiene – Harestad is to build a new four-lane road that connects the E39 Rogfast tunnels with the existing E39 at Smiene (north of the Eiganes tunnel) and thereby contribute to a continuous four-lane and high standard road from Sandnes to Bokn. E39 Smiene-Harestad, includes i.a.: • 4.7 km of open air four lane roads, • Connection to the Smiene junction • New two-level crossings o Tasta junction o Finnestad junction and o Harestad junction • Three bridges of 98 m, 90m and 24m respectively. • Foot and cycle path • 400m Environment culvert • and related technical installations. The E39 Smiene-Harestad shall open at the same time as the E39 Rogfast. The project, together with E39 Rogfast, will be able to connect Western Norway in a new way. Western Norway and Norway are in an increasingly tough national and international competition situation for people and resources. E39 Smiene-Harestad together with E39 Rogfast will open to greater synergy, freedom and expanded living and labour market area for the population. This can contribute to increased business growth in the area. The project notice is expected to be published in 2027. One-to-one meetings can be held for a period after the market meeting.
