The project includes the Replacement of existing MTHW Boilers with 3 No. dual fuel MTHW Boilers. The contractor will be responsible for the installation of associated boiler plant including pressurisation equipment, Heat exchangers, circulating pumps, valves, pipework and insulation. A free standing flue installed adjacent the Boiler house will be adjusted for the new Boiler plant. The boiler house will be extensively renovated to accommodate the proposed new boiler plant and equipment. Builders works is required including construction and fitting out of the renovated boiler house, roof alterations to accommodate a new roof light and works associated with a Lpg tank compound. Electrical Works include replacement cabling, local isolators for boiler plant, emergency lighting and fire alarm works. The BMS in the boiler house is to be updated and new boiler house panels are to be installed. The works require phasing of shutdowns of old equipment and changeovers to new equipment. Close Integration will be required with the maintenance department in the hospital.

The Framework Agreement is divided into two Lots: • Lot 1: Works projects up to €250,000; and • Lot 2: Works projects over €250,000 and up to €1,000,000. For the avoidance of doubt, all Lot value bands, project values, annual framework values and turnover requirements referred to in the procurement documentation are exclusive of VAT unless expressly stated otherwise.
