The objective of the procurement is to procure 1 ultrasound apparatus for surgical operations at the Surgical Clinic. In addition there will be an option for a total of 5 equivalent ultrasound apparatuses with all available probes over a period of three years applicable to all hospitals in Helse Midt-Norway.Ultrasound apparatus shall be able to be used for diagnostics of urological conditions; measuring residue and ultrasound of kidneys, bladder, examination of prostate and for biopsyking, i.e. perineal ultrasound guided biopsy. Shall also be used for interoperative ultrasound with drop-in probe. The offered apparatus shall include the following probes: - 1 curved abdomoinal probe for examination of kidneys/bladder - 1 rectal probe for visualisation of the prostate in the first floor and visualisation of biopsy needle- 1 curved abdominal dropin-probe to the robot Estimated value of the described sub-contract including 5 options will be between c.f. 1.600.000 – NOK 1,600,000 – NOK 1,600,000 8.000.000.Se the Requirement Specifications and the Price Form for further details.

The system must be capable of custom configuration and incorporate the latest advancements in 2D, 3D, 4D imaging, probe technologies, and AI enabled functionality. It should be built on a modern scalable platform that supports future upgrades and represents the most current technologies available from manufacturers. These systems are essential to ensure efficient, safe and comfortable ultrasound imaging for paediatric patients. The system must support Neonatal, Paediatric and Adolescent studies on a single platform. Particular emphasis is on suitability for National Children’s Hospital(NCHI) requirements. Tenderers should note that the hospital is a paediatric facility with patients ranging from neonatate to adolescent (i.e adults), so the system must incorporate full adult imaging capabilities. NCHI serves as the national tertiary and quaternary referral centre for paediatric patients and also provides primary and secondary care for the greater Dublin area. State of the art equipment is required to meet the demands of a high-volume cardiology ultrasound imaging service. The system must be suitable for use across multiple clinical environments, including: Cardiac Outpatient Department Cardiac Intensive Care Unit Cardiac Catheterisation Theatres, Cardiac Hybrid Imaging Theatres Open Heart Surgery Theatres. Mobile bedside imaging should patients be unable to attend cardiac inpatient clinics.
