The requirements are for five ultra-high specification cardiac ultrasounds to provide advanced paediatric echocardiography to scan Neonatal, Paediatric and Adolescent patients. The system must be capable of custom configuration and incorporate the latest advancements in 2D, 3D, 4D imaging, probe technologies, and AI enabled functionality. It should be built on a modern scalable platform that supports future upgrades and represents the most current technologies available from manufacturers. These systems are essential to ensure efficient, safe and comfortable ultrasound imaging for paediatric patients. The system must support Neonatal, Paediatric and Adolescent studies on a single platform. Particular emphasis is on suitability for National Children’s Hospital(NCHI) requirements. Tenderers should note that the hospital is a paediatric facility with patients ranging from neonatate to adolescent (i.e adults), so the system must incorporate full adult imaging capabilities. NCHI serves as the national tertiary and quaternary referral centre for paediatric patients and also provides primary and secondary care for the greater Dublin area. State of the art equipment is required to meet the demands of a high-volume cardiology ultrasound imaging service. The system must be suitable for use across multiple clinical environments, including: Cardiac Outpatient Department Cardiac Intensive Care Unit Cardiac Catheterisation Theatres, Cardiac Hybrid Imaging Theatres Open Heart Surgery Theatres. Mobile bedside imaging should patients be unable to attend cardiac inpatient clinics. It is imperative that all equipment is highly reliable, supports efficient clinical workflows, and operates consistently to minimise risks to patients and staff The system must deliver high quality imaging that ensures heart structures are quickly and easily identified and provide precise quantitative data. It must also seamlessly integrate with PACS Systems ensuring that imaging data is efficiently transferred and readily accessible. This will support clinicians in determining optimal treatment pathways and monitor patient progress in a safe, efficient and child friendly environment. The appendices set out the requirements for the system and invites the market to respond with a suitable configuration to meet these needs.

10Provision of Cardiac MRI scans for Galway University Hospital
Health Service Executive (HSE)KildareThe objective of this Voluntary Ex Ante Transparency (VEAT) notice is to inform the marketplace of HSE West & North West’s intention to enter into a contract for the provision of Cardiac Magnetic Resonance Imaging (MRI) scans for Galway University Hospital (GUH) to support specialised cardiology diagnostics in Galway City. GUH currently does not possess the MRI1 capacity or clinical resources required to deliver Cardiac MRI services on site. As a result, there is a requirement to secure access to a suitably qualified ex-ternal provider located within close proximity to Galway City to ensure timely, efficient, and patient-centred service delivery. Cardiac MRI is widely recognised as the non-invasive imaging modality for the comprehensive assessment of cardiac structure, function, tissue characterisation, myocardial viability, cardiomyopathies, congenital heart disease, inflammatory cardiac conditions, and complex cardiovascular disorders. The availability of this service is essential to support accurate diagnosis, guide treatment planning, assist in risk stratification, and monitor disease progression, thereby contributing directly to improved patient outcomes and enhanced quality of care. The provision of Cardiac MRI scans are to be provided at the Galway Clinic Doughiska Unlimited Company, Doughiska, Galway, H91 HHTO. The proximity of the provider to Galway City is a key requirement to support timely and equitable access for patients. Many patients requiring Cardiac MRI investigations have significant cardiovascular disease, reduced mobility, or complex clinical needs. Access to a local or nearby service minimises travel burden, reduces delays in diagnosis, improves patient experience, and supports continuity of care. Furthermore, a geographically accessible service facilitates more efficient referral pathways, enables urgent and clinically time-sensitive cases to be accommodated promptly, and reduces the operational impact associated with longer-distance patient transfers. This is an interim arrangement pending a full procurement process to be completed during 2027.Dynamic purchasing system for ultrasound apparatuses for the health authorities in Helse Vest og Helse Nord
