In summary, the Services comprise the provision of PET and CT imaging services for patients referred by Children's Health Ireland (CHI), predominantly for children and young people up to 18 years of age, with a small number of referrals relating to patients over 18 years of age. CHI anticipates approximately 80 PET CT examinations per annum. This figure is provided for guidance only and does not constitute a guaranteed minimum activity. A proportion of patients referred for PET imaging may require general anaesthesia or deep sedation (circa 5 per cent of patients). Although it is preferred that prospective healthcare facilities can provide this, it is not a mandatory requirement. CHI intends to establish a multi-supplier framework agreement with up to three Service Providers. However, CHI reserves the right to appoint fewer than three providers, including a single provider, where this is considered appropriate following completion of the procurement process. Services will be drawn down on a patient-specific basis. The selection of the Service Provider for an individual referral will be determined by CHI having regard to the clinical requirements of the patient, service availability and capacity, accessibility of the proposed facility, and where appropriate, patient and family preferences. CHI considers ease of access for patients and families to be an important aspect of service delivery and will take account of facility location and accessibility when evaluating tenders and making referral decisions under the framework.

University of HelsinkiUniversity of HelsinkiBiomedicum Imaging Unit In Vivo Imaging (BIU-IVI) is an open-access core service research infrastructure at the Faculty of Medicine, University of Helsinki, part of the Helsinki In Vivo Animal Imaging Platform (HAIP) of Helsinki Institute of Life Science (HiLife). BIU-IVI provides unique multimodal live animal imaging equipment and services for pre-clinical biomedical research. BIU-IVI acquired a modular imaging system for rodent positron emission tomography (PET) and X-ray computed tomography (CT) of rodents in 2022 from Molecubes, currently part of Bruker. With this system, the PET signal from radiolabeled tracers can be automatically co-registered with a CT image as an anatomical reference, with easy transfer of experimental animals between the two imaging modules. The current location of the PET/CT system is in Biomedicum Helsinki Laboratory Animal Centre, within a room retrofitted for this purpose, which enables combining nuclear imaging with e.g. the optical imaging modalities we offer in Biomedicum; however, the PET & CT modules can also be transported to other suitable locations e.g. in Kumpula or Viikki campuses when required. One of the most important criteria for the selection of the Molecubes imaging system at the time of procurement was the possibility of adding a third imaging module for single photon emission computed tomography (SPECT). The requirements for a SPECT system can only be met by upgrading the existing Molecubes PET/CT system.Provision of Third Party Baggage Handling Services and/or Ramp Handling Services and/or Ramp Handling Services for Inflight Catering at Aktion Airport
