The services provided include rehabilitation for the older person and those with respiratory disabilities, continuing care services are also provided for the older person, adults with neurological disabilities and individuals with intellectual disabilities. A community diagnostic service is also available. Peamount Healthcare seeks to provide an environment which encourages and develops an improved quality of life for all of its clients characterised by independence, self-determination and dignity. CHI anticipates approximately 80 PET CT examinations per annum. This figure is provided for guidance only and does not constitute a guaranteed minimum activity. A proportion of patients referred for PET imaging may require general anaesthesia or deep sedation (circa 5 per cent of patients). CHI intends to establish a multi-supplier framework agreement with up to three Service Providers. Services will be drawn down on a patient-specific basis. The selection of the Service Provider for an individual referral will be determined by CHI having regard to the clinical requirements of the patient, service availability and capacity, accessibility of the proposed facility, and where appropriate, patient and family preferences. The scheme with veterinary guards is established in accordance with the Act from 15 June 2001 no. 75 on veterinary surgeons and other animal health personnel § 3 a. The scheme with veterinary duties shall ensure that clinical guards are established for veterinary surgeons in all parts of the country so that the necessary veterinary help can be provided within ordinary working hours. The veterinary duty is a necessary part of the stand-by against serious infectious animal diseases and it is important for maintaining good animal welfare. The procurement ́s value is estimated to approx. NOK 2,900,000 excluding VAT per annum. The volume is an estimate and is not binding for the contracting authority.
