FAONigerDeadline: Aug 31The Food and Agriculture Organization of the United Nations (FAO) seeks to pre-qualify qualified organizations to support the assessment, revision and implementation planning of Protected Area Management Plans (PAMPs) in two pilot protected areas: Chon-Kemin State Nature Park in Kyrgyzstan and a pilot protected area in Uzbekistan (site to be confirmed). The assignment will also support the development of practical Technical Guideline(s) for protected area management planning and landscape-level biodiversity connectivity. The assignment will be implemented over a period of 12 months through parallel and coordinated workstreams in the two countries. The Service Provider shall ensure a consistent methodological approach, common technical and quality standards, and overall coherence across the two pilot areas, while adapting the approach to the ecological, socio-economic, institutional and legal context of each country and pilot protected area. The Technical Guideline(s) shall provide practical approaches and tools for assessing existing Protected Area Management Plans and their implementation; preparing and updating management plans; monitoring implementation and management effectiveness; supporting adaptive management and periodic review; and identifying areas of high biodiversity value and developing strategies to maintain and strengthen ecological connectivity among such areas at landscape level. The Guideline(s) shall draw on experience and lessons generated through the two pilot applications. The selected Service Provider shall support FAO and the relevant national authorities through technical assessments, field-based analyses, stakeholder engagement and participatory planning, GIS and spatial analysis, zoning, preparation of action and implementation plans, monitoring frameworks, capacity development and on-the-job coaching, and knowledge transfer. The assignment shall also include the development of targeted awareness-raising and communication materials for global/international and grassroots/local audiences, with particular emphasis on biodiversity conservation, climate change adaptation and mitigation, and sustainable forest management. Within this context FAO Sub-regional Office for Central Asia is intending to sign Letter of Agreement among Non-Governmental Organizations to be awarded with a contract for twelve (12) months. Bundesministerium für Forschung, Technologie und RaumfahrtBonnDeadline: Sep 16Das Hochschulforum Digitalisierung (HFD) ist ein seit 2014 bestehendes Verbund-projekt im Konsortium von Stifterverband, Hochschulrektorenkonferenz (HRK) und Centrum für Hochschulentwicklung (CHE). Das Projekt bringt als bundesweites Ex-pert:innen-Netzwerk Akteure aus Hochschulen, Politik, Wirtschaft und Gesellschaft zusammen, um den digitalen Transformationsprozess an deutschen Hochschulen im Bereich der Hochschulbildung zu befördern. In den ersten drei Projektphasen (2014-2016, 2017-2021, 2021-2025) erfolgten der Aufbau, die Sichtbarmachung, Vernetzung sowie Breitenwirkung des HFD. Die aktuelle vierte Förderphase (2026-2029) hat zum Ziel, das HFD zu einem transferorientierten Kompetenzzentrum wei-terzuentwickeln. Insgesamt standen bzw. stehen dem Projekt rund 45 Mio. Euro in-nerhalb der vier Projektphasen zur Verfügung. Im Rahmen dieses Auftrags ist das Projekt HFD anhand der seit Beginn des Projek-tes durchgeführten Fördermaßnahmen in den bewilligten Förderphasen (seit 2014) zu evaluieren. Die Evaluation soll zu der Erfolgskontrolle nach § 7 Abs. 2 der Bun-deshaushaltsordnung (BHO) beitragen in Verbindung mit VV-BHO Nr. 2.2 zu § 7 BHO. Es sind Zielerreichung, Wirksamkeit und Wirtschaftlichkeit des Projektes an-hand quantitativer und qualitativer Indikatoren systematisch zu erfassen und zu be-werten. Darüber hinaus soll sich die Evaluation mit dem HFD als Gesamtkonstrukt befassen und sämtliche Leistungsbereiche des HFD sowie dessen Organisations-struktur, seine systemische Rolle und seinen Beitrag zur digitalen Transformation des deutschen Hochschulsystems untersuchen. Ziel ist es, zu prüfen, inwieweit das HFD die im Projekt beschriebenen Aufgaben erfüllt hat und welche systemische Wirkung es im Kontext der digitalen Transformation im deutschen Hochschulsystem entfaltet und potenziell noch entfalten kann. European Union Drugs AgencyLisbonDeadline: Sep 16The ESPAD project (European School Survey Project on Alcohol and Other Drugs) is an international project that collects data every four years in over 35 European countries on the use of alcohol, tobacco, medicines, illicit drugs, and other addictive behaviours, and possible correlates with such behaviours, among 15–16-year-old school students through probabilistic school surveys. The project started in 1995, and the next data collection is planned for 2028. Since ESPAD is a unique source of internationally comparable and trend information about prevalence and patterns of addictive behaviours among school population in Europe that has been proven informative for researchers, policy-makers, and other stakeholders, and it increasingly provides evidence for evaluation of national and European drug policies, EUDA has a strong interest in maintaining high quality and comparability of the research process and study outputs. The EUDA is committed to giving support to the international coordination of the project and actively participating in its coordination. The main purpose of this contract is therefore to collect, compile, analyse and report on the results on substance use among secondary school students across Europe with the objective to strengthen EUDA’s monitoring capacities on drugs use and to anticipate and alert on emerging drug-related risks among European adolescents.
