Raidió Teilifís Éireann (RTÉ), Ireland’s national public-service media organisation, invites tenders from suitably qualified consultancies to provide expert services in greenhouse gas (GHG) emissions reporting, energy management, and environmental certification. RTÉ is a designated Public Body under SEAI’s Monitoring and Reporting (M/R) framework and is progressing its decarbonisation strategy in line with national and EU obligations, including the VSME framework and Ireland’s Climate Action Mandate. The appointed consultant will strengthen RTÉ’s environmental governance, compliance, and reporting processes under SEAI, ISO 50001, ISO 14001, and VSME aligned standards. All technical capabilities must be managed by the Tenderer at the time of tender submission and remain under the Tenderer’s direct contractual and managerial control for the duration of the framework.

Sept.Offaly County Council invites tenders for engineering and environmental consultancy services for the Rahan Flood Relief Scheme at Tullybeg, Rahan, County Offaly, on the River Clodiagh. The Scheme comprises approximately 430 metres of reinforced concrete flood defence wall along the right bank of the River Clodiagh, with embankment at the tie-in points, protecting residential properties and the wastewater treatment plant to the 1 percent AEP fluvial standard. The commission covers Stage (ii) statutory consent and detailed design, Stage (iv) construction-stage services and Stage (v) handover and defects period, under the Capital Works Management Framework. The construction works will be delivered by Office of Public Works direct labour; procurement of a works contractor is not included in this commission. The services include detailed design, hydrological and hydraulic modelling, ground investigation specification and interpretation, review and validation of the completed EIA and Appropriate Assessment screening, statutory consent documentation for approval under Part 8, works package preparation for direct labour delivery, Project Supervisor Design Process duties, construction-stage technical support and design authority, and handover documentation. Aug.Inland Fisheries Ireland is seeking to procure multidisciplinary consultancy services to assist with the delivery of 2 proposed Barrier Mitigation Projects, Lyre Bridge and Glenshelane Weir in County Waterford, through the completion of Phases 1 to 3. The appointed Consultant will undertake all necessary engineering, environmental and planning services required to progress the project through feasibility, option selection, and statutory consent stages in accordance with the Planning and Development Acts 2000–2023, the Capital Works Management Framework, and Infrastructure Guidelines 2023. The Barrier Mitigation Projects aim to mitigate the impacts of the identified barriers on fish passage and restore more natural river processes along the associated rivers. The commission forms a specific action under Ireland’s Water Action Plan 2024 and supports implementation of the National Barrier Mitigation Programme to deliver improved ecological status under the EU Water Framework Directive. Sept.KfW’s Environmental and Social Experts (formerly KCUS and regional E&S experts) provides services in the field of environmental and social sustainability for KfW Development Bank, KfW IPEX-Bank and other business units of KfW. The objective of this tender is to establish a framework agreement with three environmental and social consultancy firms (Consultants) to provide expert services required by the E&S Experts as the case may be. The Consultants will perform the tendered services on the basis of single assignments. E&S will either allocate them on the basis of a cascade-system if the services to be executed are standard tasks or by awarding them on grounds of a mini-competition between the three Consultants if the services to be performed are non-standard tasks. Both procedures are described in detail in the Framework Agreement. KfW has planned that the required max. number of person-days required during the entire term of the framework agreement is estimated to amount to 1710.
