UNDPJordanFrist: 01. Sept.UNDP Viet Nam is looking for 01 qualified consultancy firm/institute/organization for the Living Lab Implementation and Team Support Partner for RE:ACT – Youth Innovation Challenge for Resilient Communities.Viet Nam is undergoing rapid digital transformation while facing increasing social, economic and environmental challenges affecting communities across the country. Climate change, natural disasters, urbanization, environmental degradation, digital divides and unequal access to opportunities continue to create new vulnerabilities, particularly for young people and communities in exposed or underserved areas. At the same time, Viet Nam has a dynamic youth population and a fast-growing innovation ecosystem, creating significant potential for young people to apply technology, entrepreneurship and creative problem-solving to real development challenges. Young people are increasingly interested in using digital tools, innovation and entrepreneurial approaches to address issues affecting their communities. Young innovators often need access to mentors, technical experts, public sector stakeholders, private sector actors, universities, innovation hubs, startup networks and community partners in order to test their ideas, strengthen their solutions and connect with real users. In this context, UNDP Viet Nam, with the support of Samsung, will implement RE:ACT – Youth Innovation Challenge for Resilient Communities. The programme aims to mobilize young people in Viet Nam to develop innovative, practical and technology-enabled solutions that strengthen community resilience and respond to local development challenges.
