RegardsUNICEF China Tender LRFP-2026-9205896 LTA Contract for Hearing Aids and Diagnosis Equipment
UNICEFIndiaFrist: 29. Sept.Dear Madam/Sir, Access to quality health care services, particularly in under-resourced settings, is critically dependent on the availability of appropriate medical technologies. Hearing loss, especially among children, can significantly hinder early development, learning, and social integration, yet remains underdiagnosed and untreated in many low-resource environments due to lack of access to hearing aids and related services. This tender aims to address that gap by facilitating the procurement, installation, and training associated with hearing aids and audiological equipment. Through this exercise, UNICEF China seeks to establish local Long-Term Arrangements (LTAs) that enable Country Offices and partners to respond more efficiently and sustainably to hearing health needs, particularly in support of maternal, newborn, and child health programs. The scope of this tender aligns with UNICEF’s broader goal of ensuring equitable access to life-changing medical technologies, with a strong emphasis on sustainable service delivery and capacity building at the local level.
