Department of Culture Communications SportKillarneyThe Creative Climate Action Fund III (2026-2029) is a key deliverable for the Creative Climate Action and Sustainability pillar of the Creative Ireland Programme. This fund seeks to build on the premise that transformational action on climate change requires cultural change throughout society, and with the ambition to utilise the potential of the arts, creativity and heritage to inspire and empower the culture change needed to transform to a net zero Ireland by 2050. A key finding of the evaluation of the first fund was the need for training and development of project leaders to ensure that this investment realises the object of building enduring capacity in the sector. There will be organisations from different sectors in receipt of the grant funding including: arts and cultural organisations, local authorities, research institutions, environmental groups and community development organisations. We envisage that there will be up to 15 projects funded. These projects teams have a good knowledge of climate action. However, a consistency of understanding of the policy objectives and best-practice methods of project delivery will be essential to the success of the fund. Therefore, this training and development package will: * Ensure a consistency of technical knowledge across all project teams * Ensure a consistency of approach to be taken on dialogue between projects and with communities the projects are engaging and facilitating dialogue with, to ensure that this aligns with the approach taken in the National Dialogue on Climate Action (NDCA) * Ensure full understanding of the policy framework as set out in the Climate Action Plan 2025. * Support individual projects in their approach to data collection and evaluation * Support project management and communications functions within individual projects * Provide a supportive network for the projects to facilitate collaboration and sharing of skills, knowledge and best practice It is envisaged that that the training wilRFQ REF: 2026/25 NMANDD PEACEPLUS Thriving Together Celebrating Cultures and Diversity 3.5 Sports Festival
Newry Mourne and Down District CouncilNewryFrist: 26. Aug.CA18276 - RFQ REF: 2026/25 NMANDD PEACEPLUS Thriving Together Celebrating Cultures and Diversity 3.5 Sports Festival Competent and creative suppliers are invited to tender for the design, development, and delivery of a two-stage Inclusive Sports Programme. Stage 1 will consist of a series of inclusive, locally based sports workshops and a site visit designed to build the skills, knowledge, and confidence of sports clubs, coaches, and community organisations to support the participation of people with disabilities in sport. These capacity-building activities will provide participants with practical tools and experience to create accessible, welcoming, and sustainable sporting environments. Stage 2 will culminate in a large-scale Inclusive Sports Festival on International Day of Persons with Disabilities. The festival will provide free and accessible opportunities for workshop participants and the wider public to experience adapted sports, engage with local clubs and organisations, and learn about opportunities for ongoing participation in sport across the district. Through both stages, the programme aims to increase understanding of disability inclusion, strengthen inclusive practice within local sporting organisations, expand participation opportunities for people with disabilities, and contribute to stronger, more connected communities across the district. Deutsche Gesellschaft für Internationale Zusammenarbeit (GIZ) GmbHEschbornShort Project Description: Nigerian Energy Support Programme (NESP) NESP is currently in its third phase (June 2023 - May 2027) and still funded by the European Union (EU) and the German Federal Ministry for Economic Cooperation and Development (BMZ). The programme is implemented by the Deutsche Gesellschaft für Internationale Zusammenarbeit (GIZ) GmbH in collaboration with Nigeria"s Federal Ministry of Power. Its core objective is to foster investments in domestic renewable energy (RE) and energy efficiency (EE) markets while improving electricity access for disadvantaged, mostly rural communities, including those in conflict-affected areas. Background With a fast-growing population now estimated at 227 million, Nigeria is the most populated country in Africa. With only 60% of Nigeria"s population connected to the main grid, the rest remains unconnected. Power supply shortages do not only affect the living standards of Nigerians, but also the competitiveness of Nigeria"s businesses and industries. In most cases, Nigerians resort to expensive and polluting captive diesel generation to satisfy their power needs. As a result, Nigeria has become one of the largest markets for diesel generators in the world. With its huge natural and fossil resources, Nigeria is Africa's energy giant and energy exports are essential for the Nigerian economy transition. However, due to the destabilisation of oil prices there is an increasing interest by Nigeria to accelerate the energy transition by increasing investments in sustainable energy. The Energy Transition Plan (ETP) that was adopted in February 2022 provides an ambitious, long-term strategy for the energy transition. It builds on the Sustainable Energy for ALL (SEforALL) Action Agenda and its Vision 30:30:30, setting the target to increase power generation capacity to 30 gigawatts (GW) and the RE share in the electricity mix to 30% until 2030. UNDPJordanFrist: 09. Sept.Project Background The United Nations Development Programme (UNDP), through the SDG Local Action Project, is supporting the implementation of the Productive Relocation Based on the Fish Value Chain Project in the City of Beira, Mozambique. The project was selected as one of the global winners of the 2025 Bloomberg Mayors Challenge, an international competition that supports cities in developing ambitious and innovative solutions to improve residents lives through more resilient, inclusive and effective municipal services. The Productive Relocation Based on the Fish Value Chain Project – "From Climate Vulnerability to Sustainable Community Prosperity" introduces an innovative approach that integrates climate change adaptation, disaster risk reduction, resilient urban development and local economic development. Rather than focusing solely on physical relocation, the project combines the voluntary relocation of vulnerable coastal communities with the creation of sustainable livelihood opportunities centred on the fish value chain. The project targets vulnerable fishing communities currently living in Praia Nova, an informal coastal settlement exposed to severe risks associated with coastal erosion, flooding, storm surges and sea-level rise. The intervention supports the voluntary relocation of eligible households to Muave, a safer area identified by the Beira City Council for resilient urban expansion, while simultaneously strengthening fisheries-based livelihoods and improving access to productive infrastructure and markets. The objective of this consultancy is to design, prepare, and deliver an integrated practical capacity-building programme for members of the fishing cooperative, covering the minimum viable product (MVP) phase and subsequent stages of the productive relocation based on the fish value chain project. V. m. § 45 Abs. 1 S. 1 Nr. 1 SGB III - "Kompetenzfeststellung für erwerbsfähige Leistungsberechtigte mit Migrationshintergrund"
Landkreis Potsdam-MittelmarkBad BelzigFrist: 26.
