St. Cronan's National School is a single-storey school building with an approximate floor area of 3,050m². This project entails works in decommissioning and replacing the existing space heating throughout the majority of the building which includes the supply and installation of new radiators, new heating services pipework, new rooms controls, etc. throughout the majority of the school building. There are some areas in the building where the existing space heating installation shall be retained but some remedial works shall be carried out to the existing space heating installation in these areas. St. Ciaran’s Community School is a primary school that is located in Kells, Co. Dublin. The school is a two storey building consisting of classrooms, GP hall and technology block extending to 5,000m2. This project entails works in decommissioning and replacing the existing emergency lighting and fire alarm system installations throughout the building. Refer to the drawings for further information on the works to be carried out. The scope of the works will be as follows: • Remedial works to the existing electrical boards throughout the building to cater for the new emergency lighting installation. • Decommissioning and replacing of the existing emergency lighting installation throughout the building and installation of a new emergency lighting installation that shall be compliant with I.S. 3217:2023 throughout the building. • Decommissioning and replacing of the existing fire alarm installation throughout the building and installation of a new fire alarm installation that shall be compliant with I.S. 3218:2024 throughout the building. • Supply and installation of a new cable carrier system throughout the school building to cater for the proposed new fire alarm and emergency lighting installation to be installed. • The existing ICT system installation, intruder alarm system, PA system and CCTV system installation shall be retained throughout the building. • All electrical works as highlighted on the drawings and the specifications. • Thorough cleaning of the building via contract cleaners once all works are completed so that the building is clean and tidy for re-opening of the building for the new term. • All associated preliminaries for the project. The competition is for the delivery of an ERP system that comprises finance, pay, HR and procurement for the municipalities Fitjar, Bømlo and Stord, delivered as the target. The licence shall also be able to be used by all associated works, which shall be communicated for a quarter time leading the accounts for – to the church church joint council/parish, municipal supervisory board (KF), municipal co-operation (KO) and intermunicipal company (IKS). participants in the procurement: Fitjar, Bømlo and Stord municipalities. The value of the procurement is estimated to be above the EEA threshold. The volume is an estimate and is not binding for the contracting authority. See the procurement documents for further information. A draft of the tender documentation is attached to this qualification documentation. The contracting authority reserves the right to make minor, not significant changes to this basis before tenderers are invited to submit a tender. The contracting authority reserves the right to cancel the competition, i.a. in connection with budgetary coverage and political approval. This procurement is considered to have an immaterial impact on climate and the environment, cf. the Regulations §7-9, fifth paragraph. The justification for this is that the procurement concerns the procurement of digital services where the nature of the procurement means that the contracting authority has been cut off from affecting climate and environment, as the requirements and criteria that are aimed at these elements will not have sufficient connection to the delivery, cf. DFØ's environmental supervisor. The contracting authority has assessed the procurement against the apprentice regulations, cf. the Procurement Act §7, and concluded that apprentices are not required in this procurement as this is considered disproportionate. This is an ERP delivery where large parts of the contract are connected to costs and the hire of shooting debris from external parties. MEDITE Europe DAC is investing in new plant and equipment under the title Project Shine. Project Shine involves the installation of the following: • Wet fuel handling systems. • Dry Fuel handling systems. • 56MW Biomass Energy Plant. • MDF Core + face dryers. • Services + utilities to the above, mainly: o Electrical distribution MCC’s o Compressed air o Water treatment systems o Fire detection + suppression o Natural Gas o Steam Project Shine has commenced the construction phase of Project Shine and proposals are sought for the supply of Fire Protection and Suppression to the various plant, equipment and buildings. The scope involves designing the fire protection systems to deliver the required volumes and density in order to comply with relevant standards. Medite DAC complies with NFPA standards and all equipment/pipework/valves/fittings etc are all FM approved. Existing Setup MEDITE’S existing fire mains schematic can be seen in Appendix 3. The system is designed to and complies with NFPA standards. The system comprises of: • 1 no. 1,500 GPM/125 PSI Mather + Pratt electric pump. • 1 no. 1,500 GPM/125 PSI Mather + Pratt diesel pump. • 200mm diameter ring main. • Various PIV, AV’s and fire hydrants. • The system is configured as a dry system.
