The assessments are required to inform the design and implementation of biodiversity enhancement and conservation management measures at Whites Marsh including but not limited to the creation of wetland habitat and natural water features such as ponds, water bodies, scrapes and the installation of visitor infrastructure such as a nature trail and bird hide (s) at Island Strand Intake (“Whites Marsh”), Inchydoney, Clonakilty Co. Cork. The focus of the civil design and visitor infrastructure will be on a nature friendly and ecologically sensitive design using responsibly sourced, sustainable and environmentally friendly materials. Avoidance of adverse impacts to the flora and fauna of the area is a key objective which will inform the civil design of the project

Medite Europe DACClonmelDeadline: Jun 26MEDITE Europe DAC is invites expressions of interest from experienced and qualified companies for the design, supply, installation and commissioning of a flue gas abatement system and associated ancillaries for a biomass boiler installation. A system will be required to treat the boiler flue gas stream and reduce particulate emissions in order to support safe, reliable and compliant plant operation. The proposed solution shall be suitable for the defined operating conditions, including flue gas flow, temperature, moisture content and dust loading, and shall be capable of integration with the existing boiler, draft system, stack and plant control infrastructure. The scope is expected to include, as applicable, the main abatement equipment, inlet and outlet ductwork interfaces, support steelwork, access platforms, insulation, ash collection and discharge arrangements, instrumentation, controls, electrical integration, and all associated ancillaries necessary for a complete and operable system. The system should be designed to achieve the required emissions performance while maintaining acceptable pressure drop, operability, maintainability and safe access for inspection and maintenance. The proposed equipment must be of proven industrial technology and conform to best practice design principles and all relevant European legislation and standards, including CE marking where applicable. The successful contractor shall be expected to undertake detailed engineering, equipment manufacture and supply, delivery to site, erection, testing, commissioning, performance verification, operator training and handover of the complete system, together with the provision of all relevant drawings, manuals and technical documentation. It is anticipated that this pre-qualification process will be followed by technical proposal evaluation and a subsequent detailed tendering stage for the selected bidders.Establishment of a Single Supplier Framework of MEP Led Design Team for Small and Minor Work Process Projects at Tyndall National Institute, UCC
University College CorkCorkThis Tender is to establish a Single Supplier Framework of MEP Led Design Team for Small and Minor Process Works Projects at Tyndall National Institute, UCC to whom specific tasks will be awarded on an exclusive basis based on the terms of a framework agreement, a copy of which will be issued with the tender documents. The team will comprise the following services. • Mechanical, Electrical and Process Engineering Services (MEP); • Employers Representative • Project Supervisor Design Process The Framework Agreement will be established on foot of competitive tenders received for the above services based on Notional Hours and rates for various disciplines as detailed in the Pricing Document Typically, projects will range in construction value from €5k to €3M however there may be exceptions whereby the construction value may be outside this range.
