The assessments are required to inform the design and implementation of biodiversity enhancement and conservation management measures at Whites Marsh including but not limited to the creation of wetland habitat and natural water features such as ponds, water bodies, scrapes and the installation of visitor infrastructure such as a nature trail and bird hide (s) at Island Strand Intake (“Whites Marsh”), Inchydoney, Clonakilty Co. Cork. The focus of the civil design and visitor infrastructure will be on a nature friendly and ecologically sensitive design using responsibly sourced, sustainable and environmentally friendly materials. Avoidance of adverse impacts to the flora and fauna of the area is a key objective which will inform the civil design of the project

Donegal County Council_1193Deadline: Aug 06Donegal County Council wishes to appoint an Engineering Services Provider (ESP) for the design of interconnector watermains for households and private Group Water Schemes (GWSs) located in Letterbrick to the closest point on the Public Water Supply, or other suitable location as determined by UÉ. The service is to include for all Civil and Hydraulic Design services as required; any environmental / ecological evaluations required; preparation and submission of any planning applications required; preparation of construction tender docs, administration of tender process (publication, clarifications, evaluation, etc.); award and management of construction contract. The ESP will also be required to act as PSDP for the Project.
