This course must be tailored for operational staff performing close protection duties and security driving. During training, there shall be a gradual and progressive build-up in driving skills, moving from SKID ( ) techniques to more advanced protective driving, including priority driving ( ) and convoy driving. The course must also include training in more assertive, high-speed, and advanced driving techniques where the vehicle is used proportionately as a tool to protect the VIP. These techniques shall include escape from or push through critical situations and immobilize adversary vehicles. By the end of the training course the driver shall acquire the necessary skills to master control of the vehicle in a defensive and offensive manner, drive safely at high speed in convoy with blue lights/siren, and master techniques to escape from threat scenarios and immobilize adversary vehicles.

ForsvarsmateriellOSLODeadline: Jul 06This procurement covers the design, construction and delivery of two identical training vessels, with an option for two additional vessels (1+1) , to the Norwegian Armed Forces. The vessels shall be used for education and training in military practical navigation, in order to ensure that the required competence of future navigators in the Royal Norwegian Navy is maintained and further developed. The training concept is based on a recurring cycle of theoretical instruction, simulator training and practical navigation. The main teaching platform is the navigation system, which must be as close to identical as possible in the simulator and on board the vessels. In this context, the training vessels serve as a platform for bringing the navigation system to sea. The vessels shall be modern, reliable and representative of current standards, with primary emphasis on safe navigation, energy-efficient operation and pedagogical suitability. The vessels shall be built in accordance with civil (DNV) class. They shall be serially built, with a high degree of standardised civil components and subsystems, in order to ensure effective competition and keep operating costs at a low level. Each vessel shall have a length of less than 24 metres, be capable of achieving a minimum speed of 18 knobs, and have a total installed engine power of less than 750 kW. Skagen HavnSkagenOn shore power for cruise ships shall be established at the cruise quay Krydstogtkajen in Port of Skagen, 9990 Skagen, Denmark. For this purpose, the Contractor shall deliver a high-voltage shore connection (HVSC) including an onshore power system (OPS) and a cable management system (CMS). The HVSC shall be able to deliver up till 16 MVA of high-voltage onshore power to at least one cruise ship at a time. The Deliverables include a complete converter station and a complete cable management solution from the OPS on to the quay front. The converter station shall be a container-based solution, where all components are to be placed inside containers, except coolers that shall be placed on the ground outside the building, which the Purchaser will build around the containers. The Contractor shall be responsible for groundwork for the CMS. The Contractor shall deliver all necessary documentation and perform training of the personnel who shall operate the HVSC upon Delivery. The HVSC shall be operational by 1st of November 2027. Definitions: High-voltage Shore Connection (HVSC): includes the Onshore Power System (OPS), the Cable Management System (CMS) and the high voltage cable distribution system from the OPS to the quay front. Onshore Power System (OPS): includes all the components necessary to transform, convert and monitor the power on shore, including, but not limited to, transformers, converters, switch gear, breakers and control, monitoring, interlocking and power management systems. Cable Management System (CMS): includes all work, cables and equipment needed from the OPS to the quay front for delivering power to the ships. This includes HV shore distribution systems (from the OPS), shore-to-ship connection and interface equipment and other items necessary for delivering power to the cruise ships. Maintenance: All maintenance necessary for the proper functioning of the HVSC shall be performed by the Contractor during the warranty period.
