Aarhus UniversitetAarhus CAarhus University seeks a contractor to carry out a large-scale airborne geophysical survey of the Rift Valley Basin in Ethiopia in early 2026, using a helicopter-based slung-load transient electromagnetic (TEM) system and magnetic instruments to map shallow and deep hydrogeological structures. Conducted in close partnership with the Ministry of Water and Energy of Ethiopia and Addis Ababa University, the survey aims to improve understanding of the Basin’s hydrogeological settings under different geological and environmental conditions. The contractor must collect high-resolution TEM and magnetic data, capable of imaging layers as thin as 3 meters near the surface and achieving penetration depths of up to 500 meters, while meeting strict technical, calibration, safety, and data-delivery requirements. The project includes joint flight-line planning, rigorous system testing and documentation, and delivery of data ready for processing in Aarhus Workbench, all within a maximum budget of 5,000,000 DKK.Copernicus C3S2 412 Enhanced Operational Services for the Energy Sector
European Centre for Medium-Range Weather Forecasts (ECMWF)BonnThe objective of the Framework Agrement is the provision of a service to produce timely, high-quality information for the energy sector; extending the information already available through the current C3S operational energy service to the global scale. The contract will make use of climate data published within the Climate Data Store, for example, the extension of ERA 5 back to 1950, to provide new and relevant bias adjusted climate variables and energy indicators. The contract will also provide enhanced toolbox applications, including those at the seasonal forecast timescales, specific tools and case studies developed with engagement with user communities in the energy sector.Support to the European School Survey Project on Alcohol and Other Drugs (ESPAD)
European Union Drugs AgencyLisbonDeadline: Sep 16The ESPAD project (European School Survey Project on Alcohol and Other Drugs) is an international project that collects data every four years in over 35 European countries on the use of alcohol, tobacco, medicines, illicit drugs, and other addictive behaviours, and possible correlates with such behaviours, among 15–16-year-old school students through probabilistic school surveys. The project started in 1995, and the next data collection is planned for 2028. Since ESPAD is a unique source of internationally comparable and trend information about prevalence and patterns of addictive behaviours among school population in Europe that has been proven informative for researchers, policy-makers, and other stakeholders, and it increasingly provides evidence for evaluation of national and European drug policies, EUDA has a strong interest in maintaining high quality and comparability of the research process and study outputs. The EUDA is committed to giving support to the international coordination of the project and actively participating in its coordination. The main purpose of this contract is therefore to collect, compile, analyse and report on the results on substance use among secondary school students across Europe with the objective to strengthen EUDA’s monitoring capacities on drugs use and to anticipate and alert on emerging drug-related risks among European adolescents.81320099-Conducting a wind measurement campaign - Lot 1
