UNDP Viet Nam is looking for 01 qualified consultancy firm/institute/organization to provide technical assistance for capacity building on business skills, market access, and related topics for smallholders and cooperatives.The Central Highlands region of Viet Nam is a landscape of global importance within the national strategy to respond to climate change, halt natural forest loss, and sustain outstanding agricultural potential. The project "Integrated Sustainable Landscape Management through Deforestation-Free Jurisdiction Project in Lam Dong, Vietnam" (iLandscape Project) is financed by the European Union (EU) to enhance environmental sustainability, social inclusion, and the resilience and adaptation of agricultural production systems and supply chains in the Central Highlands of Viet Nam. The project is implemented in the context of Viet Nam accelerating its growth model transition towards a green, circular, and sustainable direction, while simultaneously fulfilling robust commitments on greenhouse gas emissions reduction, forest protection, and environmental quality enhancement under its updated Nationally Determined Contributions (NDC). The effective implementation of the Project not only carries local significance for Lam Dong territory but also affirms the role and readiness of Viet Nam in the process of deep integration into global environmental and social standards. Within the framework of the iLandscape project, UNDP is seeking a domestic firm to conduct business and financial skills training for farmers and cooperative/producer groups participating in sustainable market-oriented agricultural commodity chains. Climate change, natural disasters, urbanization, environmental degradation, digital divides and unequal access to opportunities continue to create new vulnerabilities, particularly for young people and communities in exposed or underserved areas. At the same time, Viet Nam has a dynamic youth population and a fast-growing innovation ecosystem, creating significant potential for young people to apply technology, entrepreneurship and creative problem-solving to real development challenges. Young people are increasingly interested in using digital tools, innovation and entrepreneurial approaches to address issues affecting their communities. However, many youth-led ideas remain at an early stage and require structured support to move from concept to prototype, testing and implementation. Young innovators often need access to mentors, technical experts, public sector stakeholders, private sector actors, universities, innovation hubs, startup networks and community partners in order to test their ideas, strengthen their solutions and connect with real users. In this context, UNDP Viet Nam, with the support of Samsung, will implement RE:ACT – Youth Innovation Challenge for Resilient Communities.
