Tyndall National Institute, University College Cork requests the supply of a Precision Ferroelectric and Piezoelectric Analysis Platform, comprising of seven complementary subsystems with functionality requirements as follows 1. Measurement Core 2. Optical Metrology 3. Thermal Modules 4. HV Subsystem 5. Fixturing and Probing 6. Workstation 7. Infrastructure The Platform must have the ability to perform comprehensive, high resolution ferroelectric and piezoelectric characterisation of ferroic materials, spanning bulk ceramics, ultrathin films and full wafers, across a broad temperature range. The primary purpose of this platform is to provide a unified, high performance infrastructure for the fundamental research and industrial benchmarking of advanced ferroic and piezoelectric materials. It will be utilised for the precision characterisation of material properties at various stages of development, from initial thin film growth and bulk ceramic synthesis to full wafer level device integration and reliability testing, supporting the development of next generation sensors, actuators, and beyond CMOS computing architectures. Materials with controlled ferroic responses are key to enabling next generation technologies. Ferroelectric and piezoelectric materials are vital for precision actuators, sensors, photonic systems, and non volatile memories, while multiferroics, combining electric and magnetic order, present transformative potential for ultra low power, non volatile logic and memory.

Finance Directorate - Queen's University BelfastBelfastDeadline: Aug 12The School of Chemistry and Chemical Engineering requires the procurement of a Gas Chromatography–Mass Spectrometry (GC/MS) system to support the analysis of volatile and semi-volatile compounds generated from the thermal decomposition and combustion of solid fuels and related materials. The system will form part of an integrated analytical capability under the PEACEPLUS Clean Air project, supporting research, method development, and future accredited testing activity. The primary function of the GC/MS system is to enable qualitative and quantitative analysis of evolved gases and combustion products, including volatile organic compounds, oxygenated species, and other trace emissions relevant to air quality and fuel characterisation. The system must be capable of operating as a standalone analytical platform and must also be compatible with a separately procured thermogravimetric analysis (TGA) system for evolved gas analysis workflows. The specification therefore includes requirements for interfacing, gas transfer, and handling of low-concentration, transient species.UCC-2025-28 Supply, Delivery, Installation, Commission, Calibration, and Validation of Integrated X-ray Photoelectron Spectroscopy (XPS) System with Collocated Raman Spectroscopy Module for TNI, UCC

Helse- og omsorgsdepartementetOSLODeadline: Aug 17The Ministry of Health and Care Services would like an analysis of the Health Platform following up the Storting's decision: "The Norwegian Parliament asks the government to ensure that an independent, limited analysis is carried out so that the aim of the analysis shall be learning for equivalent projects and further improvement and further development of the Health Platform. This is to ensure the interaction, quality and efficiency goals in the services at all levels. The implementation and organisation of the analysis shall not affect ongoing improvements and further development of the Health Platform. The analysis shall refer to the existing knowledge basis." The aim of the analysis shall be learning for equivalent projects and further improvement and further development of the Health Platform. The objective is two parts: Part one focuses on the learning and improvement dimension for other equivalent projects. • Equivalent projects are to be understood as digitalisation projects in the health and welfare sector, but other sectors can also be relevant. We will use DFØ/the Project Wizard ́s definition of a digitalisation project. • The analysis shall emphasise what promotes and inhibits interaction and sharing of data across actors and levels. • The analysis shall point out the areas that have a value for learning, and identify and analyse the mechanisms that caused the known risk factors to have such major consequences. Furthermore, the analysis includes learning from all phases of a digitalisation project, including the procurement phase. • The analysis shall take the starting point in the targets of interaction, quality and efficiency in the services at all levels. • The analysis shall emphasise what promotes and inhibits interaction and sharing of data across actors and levels. Part two is about the Health Platform and is limited to • Improvement and further development of the Health Platform, and is not a decision basis for whether the Health Platform shall be discontinued or not. • See this part of the analysis for a programme for user friendliness and optimisation organised by the Health Platform.
