Donegal County Council wishes to appoint an Engineering Services Provider (ESP) using the standard conditions of engagement COE1 for the design of interconnector watermains for three lots comprising 16 private Group Water Schemes (GWS)s to the closest point on the Public Water Supply. These GWS are located across the county. The service is to include for all Civil and Hydraulic Design services as required; any environmental / ecological evaluations required; preparation of construction tender docs, administration of tender process (publication, clarifications, evaluation, etc.); award and management of construction contract. The ESP will also be required to act as PSDP for the Project.

Donegal County Council_1193LiffordThis project involves upgrading and restructuring the water supply infrastructure in the Townawilly area. The aim is to improve water quality, ensure compliance with regulatory standards, and deliver a more efficient and reliable water network. The contract includes the design and construction of an interconnector water main to connect the existing scheme to the Public Water Supply Scheme (PWSS) operated by Uisce Éireann (UÉ), which will allow for the decommissioning of the Townawilly Group Water Scheme (GWS) Water Treatment Plant. The contract also involves key upgrades to UÉ infrastructure, including construction of new watermain connections and a new booster pump station (PS) at the Glencoagh Storage Reservoir (SR) site to serve both the Glencoagh and Eddrim Glebe networks. The European Joint Undertaking for ITER and the Development of Fusion Energy ('Fusion for Energy')BarcelonaThe services of the envisaged contract concern the supply of engineering services for the design of the ITER Isotope Separation System (ISS) and Water Detritiation System (WDS). The two systems can be described as chemical plants processing tritiated water and hydrogen isotope gas streams from the ITER machine. The detritiation of the water is done by WDS and the separation and purification of the hydrogen isotope gas streams is handled by ISS. Deliveries cover final design work on both systems to prepare their manufacturing, along with other tasks like qualification of components and support to the owner. The scope covers also qualification testing of components of ISS, WDS and the REMS the Radiological Environmental Monitoring System and prototyping tasks for some components of the tritium fuel cycle.
