Supply of engineering services for the design ISS and WDS
The services of the envisaged contract concern the supply of engineering services for the design of the ITER Isotope Separation System (ISS) and Water Detritiation System (WDS). The two systems can be described as chemical plants processing tritiated water and hydrogen isotope gas streams from the ITER machine. The detritiation of the water is done by WDS and the separation and purification of the hydrogen isotope gas streams is handled by ISS. Deliveries cover final design work on both systems to prepare their manufacturing, along with other tasks like qualification of components and support to the owner. University College Cork request the supply of an argon recirculating glovebox with integrated deposition tools (Lot 1). The glovebox which will be capable of processing lithium-based battery materials and will integrate materials deposition capability utilizing RF sputtering and evaporation for synthesis and multi-parametric test of liquid, polymer and solid-state systems for energy devices. The equipment will be used for liquid, polymer and all solid-state stacks of energy devices to be fabricated with the interface control giving enhanced energy and power density and device lifetimes. In particular, the RF sputter tool will enable true solid state electrolyte deposition. This integrated research tool will enable analysis of the key role of the interface in the achievement of next generation active materials and electrolyte interactions. The integrated deposition tools will be capable of sequential layer deposition. Compatibility with and ability to process potential future batteries based on more sustainable materials such as sodium and iron will also require such a capability. The deposition suite will also permit advances focussed on integrated magnetic devices including CoFe and CoFeN alloys materials and multilayer films. Hellenic Corporation of Assets and Participations S.A. (“HCAP”) is interested in hiring and cooperating with a domestic or a foreign company or with an association or a consortium of domestic and/or foreign companies specializing in the development of complex and large-scale development projects related to real estate and infrastructure for monitoring the execution and implementation of the Integrated Development Plan of the Ellinikon Project and granting consents for derogation and deviation from the Integrated Development Plan or Business Plan. Also granting opinions, reports and other relevant consents or approvals that derive from the commitments of the SPA.
