Deutsche Gesellschaft für Internationale Zusammenarbeit (GIZ) GmbHEschbornFrist: 10. Sept.Brazil's public transport systems are currently facing a structural crisis, with ridership falling by more than 30% since 2019. This situation disproportionately affects women and people of color, who are the primary users of the system and depend on it for access to basic rights such as health, education, and employment. Insufficient spatial coverage and low service quality reinforce a downward spiral of declining revenue and social exclusion. The "Just Transition in Urban Mobility in Brazil" project, implemented by GIZ in partnership with the Ministry of Cities (MCid), aims to create the conditions to improve the quality of public transport with a focus on the specific needs of women, black and vulnerable people, in addition to including them in various positions in the system, to ensure that such groups participate in decision-making. The project addresses the lack of data-based evidence and gender-sensitive standards in national and local planning. By strengthening the knowledge of relevant stakeholders and anchoring equity criteria in national policies and monitoring systems, the project seeks to catalyze a structural shift towards an inclusive and evidence-based urban mobility governance in Brazil. GIZ intends to contract a service aim to strengthen capacities and develop procedures for data collection, processing and use, research methodologies and monitoring systems in urban mobility planning in Brazil at national and subnational levels, incorporating the needs of women, people of color and vulnerable groups. To achieve this goal, the specific objectives are: - Develop and validate data collection and processing procedures, as well as a research methodology, to systematically integrate the needs of the target group into urban mobility planning. - Design and validate a methodology for integrating multiple data sources to strengthen inclusive urban mobility planning, with a focus on the target group. - Deliver capacity-building activities for partners and strategic actors through training activities, including courses, training and innovative formats. - Provide technical advisory services to pilot cities and support the implementation of project activities within the scope of the contract.Workplace practices and practical resources for the prevention of work-related cardiovascular diseases (CVDs), return-to-work (RTW) of workers after a CVD event, and retention at work (RAT) of workers with chronic CVDs (2 Lots)
European Agency for Safety and Health at Work (EU-OSHA)BilbaoFrist: 10. Sept. The contracting authority’s OSH overviews typically include the collection, analysis and dissemination of comprehensive information regarding policy, research and practices to support policy makers, researchers and intermediaries to better guide decision making and prioritise resources at policy, research and company level. Through different research projects, an OSH overview contributes to the development and sharing of good practice, both at the level of policy and of workplace intervention. Depending on the focus and scope of the project, they involve literature reviews, case studies, interviews with key informants at policy, research or company level, focus groups, workshops and seminars. This specific OSH overview on CVDs and OSH seeks to improve the prevention of CVDs related to work, the return-to-work (RTW) of workers after a CVD event and the retention at work (RAT) of workers with chronic CVDs. Through the various projects implemented as part of this OSH overview, it aims at investigating the occupational risk factors leading to work-related CVDs, as well as their interplay with non-work-related determinants of CVDs; explore in more depth specific sectors, occupations and worker groups at higher risk; collect data on the burden and underlying causes of work-related CVDs in the EU; identify and assess policies, strategies and programmes, as well as workplace interventions and practices to prevent work-related CVDs, to support the RTW of workers after a CVD or the RAT of workers with chronic CVDs. First findings from the ongoing projects under this OSH overview have consistently identified a critical gap between evidence and practice: while the evidence linking work-related risks to CVD is relatively well established, documented examples of effective workplace-level practices and resources remain scarce. This call for tenders invites bids for two lots that together address this gap: - field-based case study research on workplace practices with regard to theExpeditionsvorbereitung, Bergung und Ausbringung von Verankerungen für Sedimentprobennahme während Expedition INDEX 2026 und biogeochemische Analyse der Expeditionsproben und Dateninterpretation
