The primary purpose of this project is to provide services to design, plan and implement the migration of the core Oracle Database systems of ICBF, Production, DR and Test/Dev, from X8M Exadata Cloud @ Customer and X9M Exadata Cloud Services to X11M Exadata Cloud @ Customer and X11M Exadata Cloud Services. Integration platform for traffic management system and centralized safety system
Fintraffic Railway Ltd has started a lifecycle upgrade for the traffic management systems. In this upgrade, a new traffic management system (TMS) – called Atlas – will be developed which will replace both the existing centralized traffic control systems (CTC) connected to interlockings and the systems which will assist traffic controllers in traffic management. This new TMS system needs an integration platform for communicating with ETCS-based centralized safety systems (CSS) covering both interlocking (IXL) and radio block centre (RBC). The new TMS will be a collection of background services and front-end applications made with modern web technologies. These components require real-time data from CSS and also a possibility to send commands to CSS. University of Limerick is a is a research active institution where ethical compliance is paramount to all research conducted within the university. To support this, the University requires a streamlined, robust and integrated ethics approval solution. The University currently uses the Elsevier PURE Research Information Management System for tracking research outputs with plans to expand this to projects and awards management. The proposed Ethics Approval solution will serve as the system of record for all research ethics applications and approvals. The solution must seamlessly integrate with the PURE system as well as other core University systems (details further below). The solution is essential to ensure cohesive and efficient data management of postgraduate research ethics submissions and approvals.
