Dear Bidder, The International Labour Office (hereinafter the "ILO") is pleased to invite Qualified Construction/Architectural/Engineering/Real Estate companies registered and operating in Nigeria to submit an offer for this RFQ. To enable you to prepare and submit a bid, please refer to the attached Annexes in the attachment area. Kindly note that a site visit is required and is a prerequisite to submitting a bid. Late offers shall be rejected. You may submit an offer to the ILO provided that your organization is qualified, able, and willing to deliver the goods, works, and/or services specified in this RFQ. Participation in this RFQ indicates acceptance of the Terms and Conditions applicable to ILO Contracts provided as a link in Annex IV. Please note that non-conformity with the Terms and Conditions applicable to ILO Contracts (Annex IV) or the additional contractual conditions stated in section 2.6 can impact the evaluation of an offer. In addition, failure to comply with the requirements of this RFQ and its Annexes may render a bid ineligible for consideration. In accordance with Article 2.2 in Annex I, bidders must upload all components of their offer before the submission deadline through the ILO e-Sourcing platform. The existing facility comprises a number of buildings. There is a Main Building of two storeys to the front and this houses administrative offices. There is a single storey building to the West of the Main Building know historically as the Promotions Unit . This single storey building will be demolished to make space for a new two storey building called “Block A”. Block A will house offices at first floor and a multi use space at ground floor which will be accessible to the general public. The rear of the Main Building contains singles storey extensions built in the 1990’s and 2000’s. These extensions house the main Care Centre and are used for residents of the Care Centre only. It houses bedrooms and various therapy rooms plus some ancillary facilities. Within these extensions there is an existing Therapy Room to the East of the site which is to be extended as part of the project. This Extension is called “Block B”. Sept.The contracting authority’s OSH overviews typically include the collection, analysis and dissemination of comprehensive information regarding policy, research and practices to support policy makers, researchers and intermediaries to better guide decision making and prioritise resources at policy, research and company level. Through different research projects, an OSH overview contributes to the development and sharing of good practice, both at the level of policy and of workplace intervention. Depending on the focus and scope of the project, they involve literature reviews, case studies, interviews with key informants at policy, research or company level, focus groups, workshops and seminars. This specific OSH overview on CVDs and OSH seeks to improve the prevention of CVDs related to work, the return-to-work (RTW) of workers after a CVD event and the retention at work (RAT) of workers with chronic CVDs. Through the various projects implemented as part of this OSH overview, it aims at investigating the occupational risk factors leading to work-related CVDs, as well as their interplay with non-work-related determinants of CVDs; explore in more depth specific sectors, occupations and worker groups at higher risk; collect data on the burden and underlying causes of work-related CVDs in the EU; identify and assess policies, strategies and programmes, as well as workplace interventions and practices to prevent work-related CVDs, to support the RTW of workers after a CVD or the RAT of workers with chronic CVDs. First findings from the ongoing projects under this OSH overview have consistently identified a critical gap between evidence and practice: while the evidence linking work-related risks to CVD is relatively well established, documented examples of effective workplace-level practices and resources remain scarce. The United Nations Office on Drugs and Crime (UNODC) through its Global Maritime Crime Programme intends to support the establishment of a training facility at the Seychelles Coast Guards.
