Preliminary Scope of Work: The project comprises the implementation of a turnkey 10 MW / 20 MWh AC-coupled Battery Energy Storage System (BESS) connected to the public grid via an existing 20 kV grid connection point at an adjacent MV/HV substation in 74821 Mosbach, Germany. At the grid connection point, the storage is supposed to deliver a power of 7.5 to a maximum of 10 MW and have a capacity of 2 to a maximum of 3 hours. The BESS should preferably be based on lithium-ion or sodium-ion battery technology and designed for commercial operation in the German electricity market. The possible lithium-ion technologies will be specified in more detail during the tender. The system is expected to support, among others, participation in Frequency Containment Reserve, Automatic Frequency Restoration Reserve, Day-Ahead and Intraday markets. The project site has already been secured and is currently used as agricultural land. The existing substation is located on the adjacent property, with an estimated cable route of less than 100 m. The site is located within Water Protection Zone III, which requires appropriate consideration of water protection, containment, drainage and environmental requirements. Planning permission for this project has not yet been granted. The project is intended to be tendered as a turnkey EPC project, including engineering, procurement, construction, installation, grid connection interface, testing, commissioning and handover of a fully operational BESS. The tender may also cover related maintenance services, which are subject to a Long-Term Service Agreement (LTSA). The contracting authorities reserve the right to set the term of this LTSA for up to 15 years. The companies have no legal right to conclude an LTSA with a specific term. The final technical requirements, interface definitions, contractual conditions and detailed scope of work will be specified during the subsequent RFP phase. Further information can be found in the procurement documents that will be issued after the conclusion of the participation competition.

Hamburger Energiewerke Energie Hub Moorburg GmbHHamburgFrist: 20. The objective of the project is the construction of an operational battery storage facility with an installed power of 200 MW and a storage capacity between 400 and 800 MWh. The plant is designed as a commercially operated facility and is primarily geared towards participation in the wholesale electricity market (day-ahead and intraday) and the balancing energy markets. It is intended to contribute to the stabilisation of the power grid, support the integration of renewable energies and provide flexibility within the energy system. The project is realised entirely under an EPC contract. The contractor assumes overall responsibility for the design, procurement, construction, commissioning and handover of the turnkey plant. The supply and performance boundary is formed by the substation to which the storage facility is connected. In addition, the tender covers the transition into operation as well as long-term operational safeguards. These include in particular a multi-year operation and maintenance contract (O&M), availability and performance guarantees including safeguarding of the capacity over the service life (degradation), extended warranty and long-term guarantees as well as a secured spare parts stock. The objective is reliable and economic plant operation throughout the entire life cycle.EPC-Errichtung Batteriespeicher Moorburg / Construction of the Battery Storage Moorburg

KG
Trianel Energieprojekte GmbH & Co. KGAachenTEP is looking for up to six framework agreement partners as suitable suppliers for the supply of the core components consisting in particular of battery storage, battery inverter, transformer station and battery management system (BMS) and power plant controller. The supplier is also responsible for the commissioning of the components it supplies. In addition, a long-term service contract is to be awarded, which includes warranty extensions and is intended to ensure the performance of the system. After successful participation in the participant competition, selected companies will be invited to submit bids on the basis of a project profile including performance requirements and a term sheet. During the bidding phase (following the conclusion of the prequalification process), bidders are required to provide cost estimates for two specific projects. TEP intends to award these specific projects directly to the best bidder(s) upon awarding the framework agreement. However, TEP also reserves the right not to award the projects to be costed, but rather to use them solely as a basis for selection when awarding up to six framework agreements, based on the award criteria. Consequently, there is no entitlement to be awarded a contract. Project No. 1 is located in Mecklenburg-Western Pomerania with a volume of 100 MW / 400 MWh. Project No. 2 is located in North Rhine-Westphalia with a volume of 20 MW / 40 MWh. TEP reserves the right to transfer call-offs or individual orders placed under the framework agreements to affiliated legal entities. This means that TEP will not necessarily be the contracting party for the individual orders placed under the framework agreements. This applies to subsidiaries of Trianel GmbH, of Trianel Flexibilitätsprojekte GmbH & Co. KG or Trianel Energieprojekte GmbH & Co. The actual demand-or the scale of the framework agreements to be awarded-is difficult to forecast, particularly due to the unpredictability of the required battery storage capacity. Based on the estimated demand volumes, the total volume under the framework agreement is estimated to be approximately 8 GWh over the contract term of up to eight years.
