Background: The targeted informal settlements in Karachi and Peshawar face significant deficiencies in water supply, sewerage, drainage, roads, educational facilities and safe, inclusive public spaces. Existing infrastructure is frequently deteriorated, undersized or poorly maintained, limiting reliable access to basic services and affecting public health, safety, mobility and community well-being. To address these challenges, the United Nations Human Settlements Programme (UN-Habitat) is implementing a series of infrastructure and basic service improvement projects. These interventions were identified and prioritized by the target communities through a participatory settlement planning process, during which communities developed Strategic Settlement Plans (SSPs) to comprehensively address their development needs and challenges. The objective is to complete, test, commission and hand over all contracted works under each awarded lot in accordance with the approved drawings, technical specifications, BoQ, safeguards requirements and approved work programme, thereby improving the safety, resilience and living conditions of vulnerable urban communities in Karachi and Peshawar through reliable basic services and inclusive community infrastructure. Bosnia and Herzegovina Railway Public Corporation (BHRPC) and the Railways of Republic of SrpskaDobojFrist: 14. Okt.The Ministry of Transport and Infrastructure, Directorate General of Infrastructure Investments, Türkiye (hereinafter - teh Ministry), has received financing from the World Bank through Ministry of Treasury and Finance towards the cost of the INRAIL Project. The Project is being jointly financed by the Asian Infrastructure Investment Bank, the Asian Development Bank, the European Bank for Reconstruction and Development, the Islamic Development Bank, and the OPEC Fund for International Development. The Project will finance the construction of a 127 km greenfield railway line designed to bypass the Istanbul Metropolitan Area and establish a high-capacity overland link across the Istanbul Strait (Bosphorus). The line will be double-tracked, electrified, fully signalized, and mixed-use, capable of carrying both passengers and freight, with a maximum freight carrying capacity of 50 million tons per year. The proposed railway line will originate at Çayrova station on the Asian side and terminate at Çatalca station on the European side, crossing the Istanbul Strait by utilizing the existing track space allocated on the Yavuz Sultan Selim Bridge (YSS Bridge), also known as the Third Bosphorus Bridge, located at the northern end of the Istanbul Strait. The Ministry intends to apply a portion of the loan proceeds toward payments under the contract(s) for the "Design and Construction of Infrastructure and Superstructure Works, including Electrification" subdivided into four Lots as listed below. The scope of works covered under this procurement package as a whole (all four lots together) encompasses the design and construction including electrification of 122.3 km of double-track main line and 4.7 km of single-track connection lines, 5 twin-tube Tunnel Boring Machine (TBM) tunnels totaling 36.2 km, 22 double-track New Austrian Tunneling Method (NATM) tunnels totaling 23.3 km, 17 cut-and-cover tunnels totaling 3.7 km, two viaducts and 40 bridges totaling 22.1 km, Stations, etc. The scope of works covered under each lot is specified in the RFP document. The Telecommunication and Signalling Works are not included in this procurement package and will tendered separately. FAGNE ASHAUGESUNDFagne has entered into a contract in the procurement that was previously announced on Doffin, with reference 2026-102558. The following description was given in the original notice: Fagne plans to build a approx. 7 km long 66 (132) kV connection between Fitjar and Tysnes in Vestland County. Fagne would, thus, like to enter into a contract with a tenderer for the procurement of materials as well as the construction of the overhead power line. Firms whether applying individually or in the form of a Joint Venture, shall: (a) be legally incorporated or otherwise organised in, and have their principal place of business in an Eligible Country; (b) be more than fifty (50) percent beneficially-owned by a citizen or citizens and/or a bona fide resident or residents of an Eligible Country, or by a body corporate or bodies meeting these requirements, as far as the ownership can be reasonably determined; and (c) shall have no arrangement and undertake not to make any arrangement whereby the majority of the financial benefits of the contract, i.e. more than fifty (50) percent of the value of the contract, will accrue or be paid to sub-contractors or sub-consultants that are not from an Eligible Country.
