AquaDuctus Pipeline GmbH (a subsidiary of GASCADE Gastransport GmbH); supported by Worley Projects as appointed EPCM.KölnOur client is currently preparing the procurement strategy for a 48-inch offshore pipeline intended for the transportation of gaseous hydrogen in the North Sea. In this context, our client, supported by Worley Projects GmbH (acting as EPCm contractor for and on behalf of the client), hereby invites your organisation to participate in a non-binding pre-market consultation (Markterkundung) conducted in accordance with §26 of the German Sector Regulation (SektVO), as part of the applicable German legislation that implements European Union public tendering rules. This consultation is of a purely exploratory nature and serves exclusively to support the client’s internal preparation of a potential future procurement procedure. Any information exchanged in the context of this consultation is purely informative, non-binding, indicative only, and subject to change. Please note that this is not a request for quotation. This request does not constitute the launch of a procurement procedure and does not create any obligation for the contracting authority to procure, tender, award or contract any scope of supply. The contracting authority reserves the right to decide on any further steps. Should a procurement need be identified following the completion of the pre-market consultation, a formal procurement procedure will be initiated, provided the relevant conditions are met. Your feedback within the scope of this pre-market consultation is non-binding and will not affect your chances in any potential future procurement procedure. The purpose of this market consultation is to obtain non‑binding, high‑level information from potential market participants in order to: • Connect with the market to prepare our execution strategy, • Assess the technical feasibility and understand technical limitations of supplying 48-inch valves for connecting the line pipe suitable for hydrogen service in compliance with the minimum requirements of API 6D Annex M, • Understand manufacturing routes, qualification approaches and constraints, • Identify indicative capacities and lead times, and • Support the preparation of transparent, competition‑neutral tender documentation for a potential future procurement procedure. We are currently evaluating our sourcing needs and participants are invited to provide non-binding and purely informative input on topics such as: • Design, Manufacture, and Testing capability for 48-inch valves • General experience with supply of valves in hydrogen service • Experience with supply of valves in compliance with API 6D Annex M, Specification Level for Hydrogen (SLH1, SLH2, SLH3, SLH4) • Experience with supply of valves in compliance with API 6D Annex I; QSL3G and QSL4G • Indicative production capacities and order of magnitude lead times • Key technical or supply chain risks relevant to this type of project Should you be interested in participating, please confirm your interest by contacting the Single point of Contact mentioned above. Aug.The objective of this Qualification System is to qualify Applicants for the design, fabrication, welding, non destructive testing, pressure testing, assembly, inspection, painting, quality assurance, commissioning, delivery and provision of documentation for Pressure Reduction Systems (PRS) and line-pressure (LP) across the Gas Networks Ireland transmission network with operating pressures greater than 16 bar. The following is applicable to the scope of the QS: • GNI may procure all or any part of the PRS and LP installation. • For the purposes of compliance with Regulation 97(1)(a) (Modification of contracts during their term) of the Utilities Regulations 2016 GNI may require additional services, works, supplies under the scope, relevant to PRS and LP site e.g. the provision of equipment listed below and all ancillary equipment to facilitate the safe and efficient operation of the PRS assembly. The Contracting Entity reserves the right, at any time during this competition and/or the operation of the Qualification System, to conduct audits (including Supplier Quality Audits), which may include site visits and quality audits, for the purposes of verifying the accuracy and completeness of tender submissions and any supporting documentation provided. Such audits may include review of relevant facilities, processes, quality management arrangements, records and traceability information, and (where appropriate) the Applicant’s and/or its sub-suppliers’ premises. Okt.Subject of the expression of interest: The LEGEND-1000 experiment (www.legend-exp.org) will operate 1000 kg of germanium detectors in a 200 m^3 liquid argon cryostat at the Italian Gran Sasso laboratory (www.lngs.infn.it). LNGS maintains 3 large halls (18 m x 18 m x 100 m) under the Gran Sasso mountain. Access is via the A24 highway tunnel connecting Termo to L'Aquila with an exit in the tunnel. The Max Planck Institute for Nuclear Physics (MPIK) is responsible for the cryostat. The cryostat has an outer diameter of 7 m and a height of 10 m. It is a pressure vessel that has to be constructed underground according to PED 2014/68/EU following the requirements of EN 13445. The entrance door to the halls (4 m wide and 4.5 m high) limits the size of the parts that can be shipped. MPIK is searching for a company with experience in the construction of pressure vessel of similar size and with experience of remote-site mounting and welding. The tender documentation give more details about the project, LNGS and the cryostat. Interested companies have to visit LNGS before preparing an offer to understand the boundary conditions.
