Churchtown Landfill Site - Ground Investigation
Churchtown Landfill Site occupies an area footprint of approximately 9.7 hectares and it is located within the townland of Churchtown, near Lifford, Co. Donegal. Multi-Operator Framework Agreement for the provision of Site Investigation Services
BACKGROUND: -- The purpose of this Prior Information Notice (PIN) is to inform prospective candidates of the potential opportunity relating to The Land Development Agency (LDA), for the Site Investigations Framework. The LDA was established in September 2018 and is a key Irish Government land management initiative. The Government has committed to providing the LDA with equity capital of up to €8.75 billion to facilitate large scale delivery of housing. Our core objectives are to: • Coordinate appropriate State lands throughout the country for regeneration and development, opening up key sites for housing delivery. • Driving strategic land assembly, working with both public and private sector land owners; • Contributing towards the delivery of affordable housing; and • Become a leading influencer of housing and land management, through research and innovation DESCRIPTION OF THE FRAMEWORK: -- The framework is intended to cover site investigations works related to Geotechnical and Geoenvironmental specialties. The framework will be utilised to engage contractors to undertake intrusive site investigation works specified by the project engineer. Examples of the intrusive investigations include; • Trial Pits to 3m • Boreholes to 15m • Rotary Cores to 20m • Geotechnical Lab tests • Geoenvironmental Lab Tests The framework will be utilised for LDA Projects throughout Ireland. The sites will vary in size and complexity. Projects will be focused on residential use, with a variety of high-density developments and low-density developments. The development sites may be Greenfields or brownfields sites. The framework members will be expected to undertake the intrusive site investigations works on site and produce the accompanying reporting. They will be expected to have suitably qualified and experienced resources in Geotechnical and Environmental disciplines. Examples of the required reporting include; • Geotechnical o Factual Ground Investigation Report o Interpretative Ground Investigation Report • Geoenvironmental o Waste Classification Report o Geoenvironmental Soil Classification Drawings o GQRA It is anticipated that the framework will have a duration of four (4) years with an estimated value of four (4) million euros total. This figure is indicative only, as there is no guaranteed expenditure under the Framework Agreement. Pre-qualification to Restricted Tenderer Panel for Howth FHC Dredging Project At Howth Fishery Harbour Centre, Dublin
The Howth FHC Dredging Project is a €30m+ project to dredge the harbour involves the dredging, stabilisation and beneficial reuse of circa 240,000 cubic metres of contaminated but non-hazardous bed material. This material is located within the confines of the West and East piers of Howth harbour in four main zones known as: * the fishing basin between West and Middle Piers * the channel which provides access from sea * the outer swing mooring area to the north of the inner break water * the inner Marina basin which is adjacent to the public slipway and channel It is proposed that this material is treated and stabilised using a pumped liquid mixing method in a location on the Middle Pier and pumped to a location to the West of the West Pier where it is to be used as the core infill of a new reclaimed multi use land area. In order to minimise delays and to give potential tenderers the best opportunity to tender for the overall project, the Department of Agriculture, Food and the Marine are undertaking a pre-qualification process to assess the suitability of prospective tenderers for the main construction and dredging contract relating to the Howth FHC Dredging works. The Department are proposing to prequalify the top 6 ranked applicants, with a minimum number of 3. Submissions are sought from suitably experienced applicants who can demonstrate experience relevant to the required works and who can mobilise sufficient plant and labour resources to undertake and complete the project. Gas Storage Denmark: Onshore Intervention Services related to wells on natural gas storage LOT 1-3: 2027-2034
Expected consumption: 4.360.000 EUR. Maximum value: 6.530.000 EUR if the contractual expansions of 2 x 25 % of the value are both activated. The overall purpose of the Framework Agreement is for Supplier to support Gas Storage Denmark (GSD) in the planning and execution of GSD's Reservoir logging and well diagnostics covering Pulsed neutron, Production Logging operations and data interpretation. Other E-line work such as Re-Perforating, Calliper of Tubing, Ultrasonic measurement, running Camera and leak detection can be expected in connection with yearly requirements for Pulsed neutron logging. GSD requires the Supplier to provide Integrated Wireline Trucks - accompanied, if possible - by a trailer fitted with all additional required equipment for the Works. This is to minimize additional trucks and personnel on the well site and to assure that transfer of equipment between wells can be conducted with minimum use of additional trucks and crane assistance. The Contracting Authority wants to ensure robustness for Gas Storage Denmark regarding services of importance. The reasoning is that it should be possible for GSD to conduct additional investigations – and therefore minimize mobilizations – when already conducting services under the respective lot. Consequently, the Contracting Authority will not award LOT 1 and LOT 2 to the same Supplier. Tenders can be submitted for all lots, but the tenderers who have applied and been prequalified to both LOT 1 and LOT 2 are required to indicate an order of priority in the case they will have the most economically advantageous tender based on the best price-quality ratio for both LOT 1 and for LOT 2. RFT to Modify + Install Upgraded Air Extraction Duct Work on our Coating Line T+G Area at SmartPly Europe DAC ‘26
SMARTPLY Europe DAC is seeking suitably qualified engineering companies to modify and install an upgraded Air Extraction Duct system in the Coating Line and T+G (Tongue + Groove) area of the plant at our site in Belview Port, Slieverue, via Waterford (X91 PX75). This system is required to improve airflow in the ducts and provide separate Bag House connections for each production line. All ducting and final detailed drawings will be supplied by Scheuch GmbH (Free Issue to the Contractor). The Contractor is responsible for all installation, bracketry, lifting, safety documentation, and associated works as detailed below. It is envisaged that the works will take place during SmartPly’s Annual Shutdown: 24th August – 4th September 2026, with pre-shutdown works permitted in the weeks prior. Due to the nature of works as set out in this tender and other maintenance + construction activity being carried out on site, these have been deemed to be "CONSTRUCTION WORK" as per the HSA's Safety, Health and Welfare at Work (Construction) Regulations 2013. The successful Bidder will operate as "CONTRACTOR" and will be required to provide site-specific Risk Assessments, Method Statements, Training + Induction Records, Plant Certification, Lift Plans, and other requested information associated with the works. Removal of Existing Ducting • Removal of existing ducting. Note: This shall be recorded in the RAMS for prior approval. Lifting Equipment + Access Platforms • The Contractor is responsible for all plant, lifting equipment, and access platforms (temporary, mobile, or fixed) required to carry out the works at heights of up to 19m above ground level. Multi- Party Framework Agreement for HSE West Employers Representative Services Framework 2025 - Framework 05 Non Acute Healthcare Capital Works - Project Value €15M to €60M excl. Vat for HSE West region (Galway, Mayo and Roscommon). The Initial project will consist of the construction of a new build 75 bed Community Nursing unit (CNU) within the Ballina District Hospital campus with direct linkages into the existing Ballina District Hospital. The new build 75 bed Community Nursing unit (CNU) will consist of 3 floors with 25 single ensuite bed room accommodation to HIQA standards for Residential Care Settings for Older People in Ireland at each level Ground Floor, First Floor, Second Floor (level 0,1, 2) along with linkages to existing hospital street, new stairways, service lift and new 2 Nr. Bed Lifts, including new carpark areas, etc. Note: on the Ground Floor there will be 10 single ensuite bedrooms which will be allocated to residents with dementia. MetroLink, Dublin – M120 Heavy Civils Enabling Works Framework Agreement
The M120 Heavy Civils Enabling Works Framework Agreement (the M120 Framework) will provide civil engineering works for the MetroLink programme. The scope of works for the M120 Framework will comprise a combination of the following: Site set up and hoarding installation; Logistics and welfare management; Utilities diversions and works; Site clearance and removal of materials; Surveys and/or ground investigations; Bulk earth and rock excavation works; Construction and outfitting works; Building construction and fit-out; Construction of single or multi-span viaducts, overbridges, under bridges and walkways over or under live carriageways and waterways, retaining walls and guide walls, diaphragm walls, secant piling and contiguous piling, rock bolts, anchors, capping beams, shotcrete works, mesh works, sealing of fissures etc., underground and above ground reinforced concrete structures and associated temporary works/propping/other reinforcement works; Monitoring of settlement and ground movement and associated remedial works; De-watering and water treatment/disposal management; Site waste management; Mechanical , electrical and plumbing works as required, perform the roles of PSDP and PSCS; Structural, civil, and engineering design; Any other related works. The procurement of the M120 Framework (the Competition) will be conducted under the European Union (Award of Contracts by Utility Undertakings) Regulations 2016 (as amended) (SI 286/2016), and will be managed by TII, acting as the contracting authority, who will be the sole point of contact for applicants. The M120 Framework will be a multi-party Framework Agreement (per Regulation 50 of the Utilities Regulations) consisting of two (2) value based lots. The competition will be structured as a two-stage process with Stage 1 the Selection Stage and Stage 2 the Tender Stage. A maximum of three (3) tenderers will be appointed to each lot. Applicants may apply for one (1) lot only. A tenderer appointed to either lot under the M120 Framework is not precluded from participating in other MetroLink projects or contract packages. The lots are as follows: Lot 1 - Heavy Civils Enabling Works for Call-off Contracts with an estimated value of €50 million or more (excluding VAT) and those determined by the Contracting Authority to be complex call-off contracts of any value which may require specific technical or specialist resources. Lot 1 will consist of call-off contracts for large elements of civils works, which may include station boxes, tunnel portals, single or multi span viaducts, and other contract packages. Lot 2 - Heavy Civils Enabling Works for Call-off contracts with an estimated value less than €50 million (excluding VAT) except those to be included in Lot 1. Lot 2 will consist of call-off contracts for elements of civils works, which may include retaining walls, other foundation/support works. Conduct of the Competition Stage 1: The Selection Stage will commence with the publication of a Pre-Qualification Questionnaire (PQQ) by TII. This will assess applicants based on defined selection criteria for each lot, such as their financial and economic standing, technical capability, and relevant experience. Provided that there is a sufficient number of applicants for each lot, five (5) applicants for each of the two (2) lots will be shortlisted. If less than five (5) applicants meet the minimum requirements for a lot, TII reserves the right to proceed with those applicants to the second stage of the procurement for that lot. The PQQ process to establish both lots will run concurrently. Stage 2: The Tender Stage for the award of the framework and first call-off contracts will commence with TII issuing the Invitation to Negotiate (ITN) to each tenderer for that lot. Following the submission and evaluation of ITN tenders, TII reserves the right to engage in further negotiations with tenderers. Following the negotiation phase, TII may request the submission of Best and Final Offers (BAFOs). The three (3) highest ranked tenderers under each lot will be appointed to the M120 Framework and will be eligible to compete for future call-off contracts. The 4th and 5th ranked tenderers under each lot will be reserve tenderers. If during the term of the M120 Framework a framework contractor no longer meets the financial and economic standing requirements in the PQQ or does not submit a tender in response to a call-off tender for three or more call-off contracts in a row then TII reserves the right to terminate the framework agreement with that contractor and appoint one of the reserve tenderers to the M120 Framework. Furthermore, the highest ranked tenderer under each lot will be awarded the first call-off contracts under each lot: Lot 1 award of the contract for the Dublin Airport station box (see 5.1 Lot: LOT0001); Lot 2 award of the contract for the Glasnevin station retaining wall (see 5.1 LOT 0002). Future call off contracts will be awarded by way of mini-competition following the issue of the call-off tender document to the framework members. Detailed information regarding the award criteria for the future / subsequent call-off contracts after the first call-off contracts will be communicated to tenderers appointed to each lot of the M120 Framework as they arise based on TII’s requirements. Copenhagen - New Metroline, M5 Civil Works South
This tender presents a substantial opportunity for prospective contractors to bid for the M5 Civil Works South (CWS) package, an important component of the Copenhagen metro system's expansion. This project is of significant strategic importance, as the M5 line is a fully automated driverless metro system that will not only enhance passenger service on existing metro corridors but also extend connectivity to emerging urban development areas, including Kløverparken, Refshaleøen, and Lynetteholm in the East Harbour. The M5 is designed to operate as an independent system, ensuring that its construction and subsequent operation do not disrupt the existing M1-M4 metro lines. MAIN COMPONENTS OF THE M5 CIVIL WORK The M5 south consists of approx 6.5 km twin bored tunnels, 5 underground stations(incl. 3 transfer stations),2 underground crossovers,5 cross passages,1 ramp, approx 2.0 km viaduct,1 elevated station, 1 viaduct cross-over,1 elevated bifurcation, short embankment sections. The broader vision includes phase 2 north of v/Prags Boulevard to Lynetteholm opening in 2045 and a potential future extension to form a ring line, signifying a long-term commitment to urban mobility. Phase 2 is not included in this tender. CONTRACT SPLIT OF M5: The M5 project as a whole consists of several contracts: • M5 Civil Works South (this contract) • M5 Transportation System South contract (tendered out as a separate contract in parallel with M5 Civil Works South) • Operation and Maintenance South contract (will be tendered out at a later stage) • Enabling Works contracts, e.g. relocation of utilities, relocation works at Kh etc. (enabling works will be tendered out in separate contracts) • Station and Shaft areas (will be tendered out at a later stage) • Canopy contracts (will be tendered out at a later stage). CONTRACT The contract is structured as a design & build contract under ABT18 terms, placing comprehensive responsibility for both design and execution upon the Contractor. This two-phase approach—design followed by execution—is a standard framework for complex infrastructure projects. An extensive market dialogue has been carried out before issuing the tender. The purpose of the market dialogue was to learn from the market what would constitute an attractive contract.
