The Donegal Famine Heritage Centre CLG (trading as 'The Workhouse') seeks to appoint a suitably qualified service provider to deliver the final design, production, and fit-out of a modern museum exhibition at The Workhouse, Dunfanaghy, Co. Donegal. Project Context and Funding The Workhouse, Dunfanaghy has been awarded grant funding by Failte Ireland through the Coast-to-Coast Capital Investment Scheme. This project is a cornerstone of the organisation's strategy, which aims to quintuple visitor numbers and revenue by transforming the site into a premier, year round, all weather destination on the Wild Atlantic Way. Core Deliverables: The Service Provider will be responsible for the end-to-end delivery of the exhibition, including: Final Interpretive and Spatial Design: Utilising the provided Draft Interpretive Plan and Content Framework to develop a high-quality, universally accessible visitor journey across an envisaged five distinct zones. This includes proposing a creative repositioned layout for internal partition walls to optimise visitor flow, maximising physical wall space, and the design, off-site fabrication, and installation of a detailed, historically accurate physical scale model of the original Workhouse building and grounds to serve as a central interpretive anchor. Content and Language Management: Collaborating closely with the Workhouse Working Group to edit and finalise all exhibition scripts. Deliverables include fully bilingual (English and Irish/Gaeilge) printed and digital displays to ensure strict compliance with the Official Languages (Amendment) Act 2021, alongside a professionally recorded four-language self-guided audio tour delivered via both proprietary devices and web-hosted smartphone frameworks. Technological Integration: Procuring, programming, installing, and commissioning all multimedia and audio-visual (AV) elements. This includes immersive digital media treatments and a dedicated, high-capacity Digital Archive Explorer interactive kiosk. Physical Fit-Out, Enabling Works and Heating Upgrades: Managing the complete site preparation, including the safe demolition and lawful disposal off-site of legacy exhibition fixtures. Physical works include constructing agreed internal partition walls, executing all necessary first/second-fix electrical, and decorative trades, and installing a centralised ambient climate monitoring display (in reception area). The Service Provider must also supply and commission an active, humidity control solution (with a total prohibition on external stone wall penetrations) and supply and commission a modern, energy-efficient heating upgrade compliant with Regulation (EU) 2024/1103 for the exhibition space. Please note that all works, installations, and commissioning under this contract must be fully completed, validated, and handed over to the Contracting Authority by no later than 30th March 2027.

JuliThe purpose of this invitation to tender (ITT) is to select a lead consultant with responsibility for the development and form of exhibition design for The Kingdom’s Treasury at Rosenborg Castle for The Royal Danish Collection. See also appendix 4. Project Brief. The exhibition is part of the overall development of the project for a new version of The Kingdom’s Treasury at Rosenborg Castle site, which will create new exhibition spaces for artefacts with unique historic, cultural and national significance from the Royal Danish Collection. Rosenborg Castle’s new treasury is intended as an experience that visitors will find impressive and moving. The appointed exhibition designer will be responsible for developing the interpretation concept and exhibition design in close collaboration with the Royal Danish Collection and relevant stakeholders, including foundations, the Agency for Culture and Palaces and other associated consultants. The contract involves the development of the narrative and spatial design concept and detailed planning as the basis for tender and production of exhibition equipment. The commission also includes consultancy in connection with the purchase, production and installation of all the exhibition elements included in the project scope. Production and installation are expected to be put out to tender as an all-inclusive contract or as partial contracts, and the Exhibition Designer will be required to assist in the preparation and execution of these contracts. The tender process for the exhibition design is carried out before the conclusion of the competition for the design of the building that will house the exhibition. The process will therefore be based on an exhibition area with a fictitious floor plan. Importantly, it should be noted that the tenderers are not expected to present a finished proposal but rather ideas, concepts and proposals that will be developed in a collaborative process with the Royal Danish Collection and the appointed lead consultants for the building contract. The Royal Danish Collection is not legally obligated to put this contract out to tender but has chosen to do so, following the regulations in the Danish Public Procurement Act. Aug.Der klassische Museumsrundgang in der Burg Kriebstein soll in den Wintermonaten durch einen Erlebnisrundgang zum Thema „Wichtel“ ersetzt werden und auf eine Dauer von mindestens 5 Jahre mit jährlichen Veränderungen/Optionen auf Erweiterungen angelegt sein. Das Angebot soll vor allem für Familien geeignet sein. Ziel ist es, ein unterhaltsames und stimmungsvolles Erlebnis für die Besucher zu schaffen. Der Rundgang soll selbstgeführt, interaktiv, charmant und weihnachtlich/winterlich, mit analogen und digitalen Elementen aufgebaut werden. Der Hof, die Fassaden und Fenster (außen als auch innen) sollen ebenfalls ins Gestaltungskonzept integriert werden. Jeder Raum erzählt einen kleinen Teil der Geschichte bzw. wirkt als weihnachtlicher, reich geschmückter Burgraum an sich. Es soll vorrangig Geheimnisvolles entdeckt und erkundet werden. Start soll am Burgtor sein, was auch gern als erstes Eintrittsportal in die Wichtelwelt in die Gestaltung mit einbezogen werden sollte. Der Rundgang soll sich durch das Museum im Wohnturm schlängeln und im Großen Festsaal enden. Die Kassierung der Eintrittsgelder erfolgt auf dem Rondell vor der Burg. Gern sollen Fassadenfenster über dem Burgtor mit illuminiert bzw. technisch bespielt werden, um die Besucher einzustimmen und aufmerksam zu machen. Es soll ein Rahmenprogramm aus Gastronomie, Bastelaktionen und gemütlicher Verweilmöglichkeit in Säulenhalle und Burghof geschaffen werden, was durch den Auftraggeber übernommen wird. Als konkreter Zeitraum für die „Wichtelburg“ ist der 20.11.2027 bis 27.02.2028 geplant. Es ist eine Umbauzeit im Museum ab 1. November 2027 möglich. Rückbau ist ab 28. Februar 2028 möglich und muss bis 24. März 2028 abgeschlossen sein, da das Museum am 1. April 2028 seinen Sommerbetrieb wieder aufnimmt. In den Folgejahren soll ab dem Samstag nach dem Buß- und Bettag geöffnet werden. Sept.Das 1979 gegründete NS-Dokumentationszentrum der Stadt Köln (NS-DOK) ist ein zeithistorisches Museum, eine der größten kommunalen Gedenkstätten für die Opfer des Nationalsozialismus in Deutschland und der mit Abstand besucherstärkste NS-Geschichtsort in Nordrhein-Westfalen (2025: 95.546 Besucher*innen). Im Zuge verschiedener Flächenerweiterungen, einer nicht mehr zeitgemäßen Ausstellung und erforderlicher Umbauten soll nun das sogenannte EL-DE-Haus grundlegend baulich, inhaltlich und publikumsbezogen erneuert werden. In diesem Zuge wird ein szenografisches Planungsbüro beziehungsweise eine geeignete Bietergemeinschaft gesucht, welches einen großen Teil dieser Maßnahmen gestalterisch und planerisch umsetzt. Dabei geht es sowohl um bauliche und technische Maßnahmen im denkmalgeschützten Bestand, als auch um die Ausstellungsgestaltung im Ganzen. Insgesamt sind rund 1780 Quadratmeter an Flächen denkmalpflegerisch, baukonstruktiv und in Bezug auf die technische Gebäudeausrüstung zu bearbeiten und als vollständig neue Dauerausstellung herzurichten. Für die Maßnahmen steht ein Gesamtbudget von maximal 6.119.580 € (brutto) zur Verfügung. Die Maßnahmen umfassen baukonstruktive Maßnahmen, technische Anlagen und Außenanlagen einschließlich Honoraren (in Anlehnung an HOAI) in Höhe von 1.280.504 € (brutto) und von 4.839.076 € (brutto) für die Ausstellungsgestaltung, -planung und -realisierung (anrechenbares Budget, in Anlehnung an die HOAS (2). Die Vergabe der Gestaltungs-, Planungs- und Projektmanagementleistungen erfolgt im Rahmen einer EU-weiten Ausschreibung als Verhandlungsverfahren mit vorgeschaltetem Teilnahmewettbewerb auf der Grundlage von §17 VgV. Bewerben können sich Ausstellungsplaner/-innen, die Erfahrungen mit der Gestaltung von Gedenkstätten und/oder zeitgeschichtlichen Ausstellungen mit Bezug zum Nationalsozialismus haben und die über planerische Erfahrungen und Expertise im Bereich von Um-, Aus- und Rückbauten im Bereich des Denkmalschutzes in Museen oder Ausstellungsgebäuden verfügen. Bietergemeinschaften sind zugelassen. Teilnahmeanträge können bis zum 14.7.2026 gestellt werden. Es werden dann vier (gegebenenfalls maximal fünf) Bieter/-innen zur Abgabe von Konzeptskizzen für Teilaspekte des Vorhabens und eines preislichen Angebotes nach HOAS (2) aufgefordert.
