United Nations Educational, Science and Cultural Organization (UNESCO) hereby invite qualified companies to submit sealed tenders as follows: Development of the Detailed Design for the consolidation and reconstruction of the significantly damaged roof of the Dormition Cathedral in Kyiv, Ukraine, located within the World Heritage property “Kyiv: Saint-Sophia Cathedral and Related Monastic Buildings, Kyiv-Pechersk Lavra.” The assignment concerns the preparation of a comprehensive detailed design package for the structural consolidation, restoration and reconstruction of the Cathedral following severe damage to its roof and masonry structures. The selected Design Firm will be expected to investigate and document the existing conditions and prepare the architectural, structural and building-services design documentation, technical specifications and bidding documentation required for the subsequent execution of the works. The purpose of this notice is to provide general information on the requirements for the procurement process and to inform interested suppliers how to obtain a copy of the Solicitation Documents.
