UDI would like to establish a contract for the hire of a total of 23 barracks/module units of approx. 18-20 m2. The contract shall consist of a Main delivery and options. Udi would like, via this market survey, to obtain information and get feedback from the market on provisional competition documents. This RFI is only a non binding market survey and is without obligations for the suppliers or udi. The contracting authority is free to use the input for the further work, and to change or reject parts of the material. Any future procurements will be implemented in accordance with public procurement regulations. Tenderers will cover their own costs in connection with the feedback. UDI will process the submitted information in accordance with the rules on confidentiality obligations and the Public Procurement Act. Tenderers are requested to respond to this RFI by filling in the attached document "RFI - Procurement of barracks, containers and mobile wagons".

As part of our support for smart city development, and embracing new and emerging technologies, and in seeking to establish a ‘smart’ district in Tallaght, this fund seeks to support stakeholders in utilising innovation and new technologies to develop new or better solutions that will improve local quality of life. Successful projects which demonstrate the potential for both delivering meaningful, positive and scalable local community impact through the use of technology and/or innovation will receive initial funding to support pilot project development. SDCC is open to exploring potential proposals across all local authority service areas and proposals may range from data-related initiatives to physical works. This market consultation will provide the opportunity for SDCC as contracting authority to consult with interested parties on the scope and potential of the fund in advance of launching a formal call for proposals through public procurement. This notice is not a call for competition. It is envisaged that the procurement competition will be launched in July 2026. Any information contained within the Pre Market Consultation (PMC) are indicative only and may be subject to change prior to the formal procurement process. The success of this initiative will inform and shape the potential future development and resourcing of the “Beyond County Hall” fund for 2027 and beyond. €250,000 funding for the ‘Beyond County Hall Innovation Fund’ was introduced in SDCC’s 2026 revenue budget. Formal proposals will be sought through public procurement for the application of this funding to support innovative smart projects that provide enhancements for citizens across any local authority service area. in Tallaght. In seeking to develop a ‘smart’ district in Tallaght, this fund aims to support local private, public and community stakeholders to develop enhancements and new solutions for any SDCC services areas within the locality. Projects should be replicable and scalable, demonstrating potential for development beyond pilot. Indicative potential focus areas and initiatives include, but are not limited to, those outlined below: Community interactive art, community facilities, public information, health and wellbeing facilities or services; real-time data to improve urban living, public safety, and resource efficiency. Mobility active travel, sustainable mobility, intelligent traffic control; Technology artificial intelligence, augmented reality, digital infrastructure, networks, communication and mapping, smart buidlings, digital literacy, Internet of Things (IoT), Software as a Service (SaaS); Green green buildings, and public realm, enhancements to waste management, cleansing and public realm maintenance. The fund will be open to dynamic private, public, community and academic organisations or groups who are capable of developing smart solutions to contemporary challenges in Tallaght. The purpose of this market consultation is to give the contracting authority the opportunity to consult with interested parties on various potential aspects of the proposed contract in advance of a formal procurement process. The initial consultation will be in the form of a written questionnaire to be completed by interested parties and this may or may not be followed by meetings with any or all interested parties at the sole discretion of SDCC. The market consultation exercise is anticipated to result in procurement of operator(s) to participate in the fund through submission of detailed proposals demonstrating the nature, product, service or works to be supplied or delivered in a pilot project. JuliThe Donegal Famine Heritage Centre CLG (trading as 'The Workhouse') seeks to appoint a suitably qualified service provider to deliver the final design, production, and fit-out of a modern museum exhibition at The Workhouse, Dunfanaghy, Co. Donegal. Project Context and Funding The Workhouse, Dunfanaghy has been awarded grant funding by Failte Ireland through the Coast-to-Coast Capital Investment Scheme. This project is a cornerstone of the organisation's strategy, which aims to quintuple visitor numbers and revenue by transforming the site into a premier, year round, all weather destination on the Wild Atlantic Way. Core Deliverables: The Service Provider will be responsible for the end-to-end delivery of the exhibition, including: Final Interpretive and Spatial Design: Utilising the provided Draft Interpretive Plan and Content Framework to develop a high-quality, universally accessible visitor journey across an envisaged five distinct zones. This includes proposing a creative repositioned layout for internal partition walls to optimise visitor flow, maximising physical wall space, and the design, off-site fabrication, and installation of a detailed, historically accurate physical scale model of the original Workhouse building and grounds to serve as a central interpretive anchor. Content and Language Management: Collaborating closely with the Workhouse Working Group to edit and finalise all exhibition scripts. Deliverables include fully bilingual (English and Irish/Gaeilge) printed and digital displays to ensure strict compliance with the Official Languages (Amendment) Act 2021, alongside a professionally recorded four-language self-guided audio tour delivered via both proprietary devices and web-hosted smartphone frameworks. Technological Integration: Procuring, programming, installing, and commissioning all multimedia and audio-visual (AV) elements. This includes immersive digital media treatments and a dedicated, high-capacity Digital Archive Explorer interactive kiosk. Physical Fit-Out, Enabling Works and Heating Upgrades: Managing the complete site preparation, including the safe demolition and lawful disposal off-site of legacy exhibition fixtures. Physical works include constructing agreed internal partition walls, executing all necessary first/second-fix electrical, and decorative trades, and installing a centralised ambient climate monitoring display (in reception area). The Service Provider must also supply and commission an active, humidity control solution (with a total prohibition on external stone wall penetrations) and supply and commission a modern, energy-efficient heating upgrade compliant with Regulation (EU) 2024/1103 for the exhibition space. Please note that all works, installations, and commissioning under this contract must be fully completed, validated, and handed over to the Contracting Authority by no later than 30th March 2027.
