Should this tender process be completed in a timely fashion, CHI may drawdown on services as required for this project. The successful contractor will also be approved under this tendering process to undertake works at any of the other CHI sites through the duration of the framework. The framework duration is 36 months with the option to extend for one year maximum. The company / individual selected will be responsible for the supply of minor works and carpentry materials and any other supplies required to carry out the task. Minor works and carpentry materials must be supplied at competitive rates and will be invoiced separately to CHI. CHI reserves the right to price check the materials against market prices elsewhere and purchase directly if it is in our interest to do so. Materials supplied must match all applicable standards. “Minor building and carpentry works" refers to small, relatively straight forward construction and carpentry projects, albeit, for this tender, these projects must be undertaken in the context of a challenging healthcare environment. CHI’s typical package of minor capital would range from €2,000 to €25,000 approximately per project. The site currently comprises a 1970's structure which is in operational use presently as a library, and a 1930's protected structure.
