(DLR)KölnDie Rolls-Royce-Triebwerke des DLR-Hubschraubers Bo 105 (D-HDDP) unterliegen nach Herstellerangaben und EASA-Vorschriften regelmäßiger Wartung. Nach 1.750 Betriebsstunden ist eine „Heavy Maintenance Inspection“ (HMI) vorgeschrieben, nach 3.500 Betriebsstunden eine vollständige Grundüberholung („Overhaul“). Die Planung erfolgt über die FX-CAMO auf Basis der elektronisch erfassten Betriebszeiten und Lebenslaufdaten der Triebwerke. Die im Januar 2026 begonnene HMI des linken Triebwerks wurde aufgrund der Vorgaben von Rolls-Royce und luftrechtlicher Anforderungen an ein zertifiziertes Service-Center durchgeführt. Die AC Avionic-Concept GmbH, als einziger Bieter mit entsprechender Eignung und Rolls-Royce-Akkreditierung, wurde beauftragt. Die Arbeiten werden vor Ort in Kanada durch Rolls-Royce durchgeführt. Bei der HMI wurde das Triebwerk nicht vollständig zerlegt, sondern lediglich das Turbinenmodul ausgetauscht und der Rest im zusammengebauten Zustand inspiziert. Im Rahmen der umfangreichen Zerlegung und Prüfung wurde jedoch eine kritische Diskrepanz festgestellt: Die tatsächliche Betriebszeit des linken Triebwerks lag bei 3.408 Stunden – nur noch 92 Stunden unter der 3.500-Stunden-Grenze für die obligatorische Grundüberholung. Diese Erkenntnis war zum Zeitpunkt der Ausschreibung nicht vorhersehbar. Ursache ist eine unvollständige Datenübertragung aus der alten Wartungssoftware (2015–2017), die zu fehlerhaften elektronischen Lebenslaufdaten führte. Obwohl die Datenformal korrekt erschienen, fehlten entscheidende Vorlaufzeiten, die nur in der papierbasierten Lebenslaufakte enthalten waren. Ein Wechsel des Auftragnehmers ist technisch nahezu unmöglich und luftrechtlich mit hohem Risiko verbunden: Die bestehende, lückenlose „Traceability-Kette“ – entscheidend für die EASA- und FAA-Zertifizierung (Form 1/8130-3) – würde unterbrochen.
