Louth County Council_381DundalkLouth County Council has three closed landfills which are under licence by the EPA. At site Number 1-Whiteriver landfill, there are seven side slope risers each with a leachate submersible pump and level sensor. The depth of these pumps varies from between 30 and 80 metres. The Council as part of licence conditions are required to maintain a level below 1 metre in depth in each side slope riser sump. The lagoon level is required to be below 1.90 metres. All side slope risers and lagoons are linked by level sensors, programmable logic controllers and underground wiring to a scada system. The site is supplied by single and three phase supply. At this site there are several buildings including a weighbridge, internal and external WC, office, store, canteen, engine compound WC, engine compound switch room and engine compound store/office. Each building has lighting circuits and power outlet sockets (note no power outlet sockets in WC’s). In addition, there are several external lighting circuits, hot water boilers, fixed heaters and groundwater pumps. There are seven external control panels associated with the side slope risers and a number of external control panels associated with the aeration unit, surface water lagoon, generator switch over point, electrical kiosks. There are also several internal control panels in the office, weighbridge and engine compound rooms. At site Number 2- Drogheda landfill, there are two sumps used for pumping sewage and surface water. Both have a duty and standby pumps and associated control panels. At the flare compound there are electrical sockets and electrical panel which operates an air compressor. At site Number 3-Dundalk landfill there is one sump with a duty and standby pump plus associated control panel which pumps to the sewer. All sites will require one full electrical test during the duration of the contract and testing of RCBO’s every six months. Ropes and chains are tested every six months. The contract may require the isolation of pumps and the lifting of pumps at Drogheda and Dundalk every six months to facilitate testing and may require chain replacement.New non-fill artificial grass cover at Moseidmoen training ground
VENNESLA KOMMUNEVenneslaDeadline: Jul 20Background Vennesla municipality shall replace the artificial grass cover at Moseidmoen training ground. The current cover is worn, has an uneven surface and no longer fulfils the current function and quality requirements. The municipality therefore needs to establish a new system that ensures a smooth and robust playing surface with good properties of use and safe use over time. The aim of the procurement is to establish a new fill-free artificial grass system suitable for football activities in Nordic conditions. The system shall contribute to high durability, stable playing properties and an appropriate operational and maintenance need throughout the year. The procurement shall also support the municipality ́s goal of environment, sustainability and long-term resource management. The choice of a fill-in free artificial grass cover is justified in assessments connected to operation, maintenance and environmental impact. Tenderers must therefore assume that a complete system is requested that safeguards these considerations within the framework of the tender documentation. Description of the assignment The procurement is for the delivery and assembly of a complete fill-free artificial grass system at Moseidmoen training ground. The delivery includes an artificial grass cover, elastic layer (pad), marking and other work included in the tender documentation. Ground works are to be carried out in a separate contract and are not included in this procurement. Before the work starts, the tenderer shall participate in inspections of the substrate together with the contracting authority. Any deviations that may affect the delivery shall be notified the contracting authority without undue delay and before the work starts. The tenderer shall assume that the substrate at the inspection site fulfils the contract requirements for the ground contract. Tenderers shall plan their work so that assembly can start without undue delay after the substrate is approved and available. Necessary fine screeds, cleaning and minor adjustments to the substrate that are naturally due to weather influence and normal influence in the period between the inspection inspection and start of the works, shall be included in the contract sum. A functional and robust track structure is requested that provides a level playing surface, good cushioning and playing ability, high durability and safe use. The artificial turf shall take care of the requirements for the qualities of artificial grass for football from the Ministry of Culture, Oct. 2019. Requirements in accordance with NS-EN 15330-1:20131, including requirements for documented qualities and testing. Stabilising sand can only be used in necessary outer zones outside of the playing surface, one metre off the sidelines. Such use shall be limited to what is necessary for the system's function and lifetime, and the sand shall not contain synthetic materials. Upon hand-over the tenderer shall submit complete MOM documentation, maintenance instructions, test reports, match documentation and other final documentation. Medite Europe DACClonmelDeadline: Aug 18Medite Europe DAC are seeking tender submissions from suitably qualified shunting companies for the provision of Shunting Services at their facility at Redmondstown, Clonmel, Co. Tipperary, E91V584. Details of the service we require are listed below: i) To provide suitable equipment, vehicles, labour and services on a 6 day a week basis to move packs of MDF from the Medite production site to different warehouse locations in the Clonmel, South of Ireland area. ii) To provide a sustainable solution to the tender offering. iii) The personnel provided to be employed as per the Safety Health + Welfare Work Act of 2005. The service provider having Duty of Care for these employees. iv) Delivery zones are within a 1km radius and 20km radius from the Medite production site. v) Additional delivery zones to be advised as and when required and prices on a pro-rata basis. vi) The personnel provided to be employed as per the Safety Health + Welfare Work Act of 2005. The service provider having Duty of Care for these employees. SPECIFICATIONS OF THE SERVICES REQUIRED (a) To provide a certified articulated tractor unit to carry the maximum 44mts allowable on the public roads this unit to be dedicated to the Medite DAC operations unless otherwise agreed. (b) To provide a sustainable option to Medite that will positively reduce the facilities’ carbon footprint under scope 3. Note Scope 3 definition “encompasses emissions that are not produced by the company itself, and not the result of activities from assets owned or controlled by them, but by those that it's indirectly responsible for, up and down its value chain. An example of this is when we buy, use, and dispose of products from suppliers”. (c) Regular Drivers fully certified CPC with a knowledge of Warehouse and Port Operations to be assigned to the Medite Europe DAC work. One nominated driver required at all times. (d) To provide a safe efficient shunter service on trailers with 24.00mts of MDF packs to the various warehouses located in and around the Clonmel and South Tipperary area. On rare occasions shunting may be required from Medite to SmartPly (Belview Port) within a 50km radius. (e) 2 x 13.3mt curtain sided Trailers with Headboards to be provided and dedicated to the Medite operation. The service provider is responsible for ensuring this equipment is in good order and available at all times. (f) Experienced labour to de- couple the truck tractor unit and re- couple the trailers truck unit. Labour to be on site at all times during shunting operations. An ability to provide replacement personnel in times of illness or vacations essential. (g) Appropriate Ratchet straps certified and in good order to be supplied and maintained. Experienced personnel to tie down the packs prior to shipping to the warehouses. (h) The service provider must be able to demonstrate the ability to provide backup equipment in case of damage or breakdown of the equipment. The average amount of 26mts per load of shunts to the warehouses amount to approx. 15 to 20 loads per day this will vary and will depend on production plans and market conditions. A total of approximately 3,500 to 4,500 loads/shunts per annum. The daily routines involve a mixture of loads on trailers depending on the needs of the business. Cooperation and flexibility are required on the part of the service providers and its personnel to match the production requirements with the demands of shipping and warehousing. From time-to-time work is required for a minimum of 4 hours on Sundays or Bank Holidays a rate for working during these periods should also be submitted with the tender. The mill closes for a minimum of 2 days over Christmas this varies from year to year. The closure period will be notified to the service provider at the end of the preceding October.
