Mayo County Council is undertaking a Preliminary Market Consultation (PMC) to raise awareness of its current Expression of Interest process for the potential acquisition of land suitable for the construction of a Fire Station in the Ballyhaunis area. Expressions of Interest are invited from landowners of land with Development Potential. Please see enclosed documents which outline the boundaries of the area where land is sought, as well as other important information. Important Submission Information: This Prior Market Consultation notice has been published on eTenders for market awareness purposes only. Expressions of Interest are not to be submitted through the eTenders platform. The date and time stated within this notice relate solely to the closing date of Mayo County Council's Expression of Interest process. Interested parties should submit completed enclosed submission document - marked "Private and Confidential" - to the Procurement Officer, Mayo County Council, Aras an Chontae, Castlebar, Co. Mayo F23WF90 no later than 4pm on Thursday, 10th September 2026. This Prior Market Consultation is being undertaken solely for market engagement and information gathering purposes. It does not constitute a contract notice, call for competition, procurement procedure or commitment by Mayo County Council to acquire any property or development opportunity. **Please note that the PMC below incorrectly states that only one proposal may be submitted per respondent.
