Education Procurement Service (EPS)LimerickDeadline: Aug 24Tyndall National Institute, University College Cork requests the supply of a Precision Ferroelectric and Piezoelectric Analysis Platform, comprising of seven complementary subsystems with functionality requirements as follows 1. Measurement Core 2. Optical Metrology 3. Thermal Modules 4. HV Subsystem 5. Fixturing and Probing 6. Workstation 7. Infrastructure The Platform must have the ability to perform comprehensive, high resolution ferroelectric and piezoelectric characterisation of ferroic materials, spanning bulk ceramics, ultrathin films and full wafers, across a broad temperature range. The primary purpose of this platform is to provide a unified, high performance infrastructure for the fundamental research and industrial benchmarking of advanced ferroic and piezoelectric materials. It will be utilised for the precision characterisation of material properties at various stages of development, from initial thin film growth and bulk ceramic synthesis to full wafer level device integration and reliability testing, supporting the development of next generation sensors, actuators, and beyond CMOS computing architectures. Materials with controlled ferroic responses are key to enabling next generation technologies. Ferroelectric and piezoelectric materials are vital for precision actuators, sensors, photonic systems, and non volatile memories, while multiferroics, combining electric and magnetic order, present transformative potential for ultra low power, non volatile logic and memory.1105601 UiO Life Sciences user equipment. Rijksuniversiteit GroningenGroningenDeadline: Jul 26Introduction Within the University of Groningen (UG), at the Groningen Research Institute of Pharmacy, the Pharmaceutical Analysis Group studies cell behaviour in physiologically relevant microenvironments, with a particular focus on microfluidic devices and hydrogel-based platforms. A central aspect of this research is the ability to engineer precisely defined biochemical and physical microenvironments at the sub-micron scale, in which cells can then be imaged and observed over time. To address the research questions arising in this context, an advanced maskless photopatterning system is required, capable of three functions within a single device: micropatterning of biomolecules for defining regions where cell can adhere, three-dimensional structuration of UV-sensitive hydrogels for structuring the mechanical environments of the cells, and microfabrication of microfluidic channels for enabling control of the biochemical environment of the cells. These three functions must be reconfigurable on demand and in real time, and the system must mount on an inverted fluorescence microscope, so that patterning can be performed at precisely imaged locations and in closed loop with observed cell behaviour. Together, these requirements place stringent demands on the patterning resolution, design flexibility, multi-function capability, and microscope integration of the instrument. See the market consultation document for futher information. An Anechoic Radio Frequency (RF) Chamber
Tampere University Foundation srTampereDeadline: Aug 24Tampere University (thereinafter also "TAU" or "Contracting Authority" calls for tenders for an Anechoic Radio Frequency (RF) Chamber for Hervanta Campus' Sähkötalo. The procurement concerns an Anechoic RF Chamer (hereinafter referred to as "Chamber") for wireless communication technology, to be integrated into the WICO research environment and primarily used by the Tampere Wireless Research Center. The facility will be used for conducting Over-The-Air (OTA) antenna measurements, supporting advanced research and experimental validation in wireless communications. The chamber will enable research on current and future wireless systems and will further strengthen the existing high-level research in the field. The object of the tender process is described in more detail in the invitation to tender documents. A dedicated space has been allocated for both the chamber and an adjacent control room. Detailed layouts and spatial specifications are provided in the appendices to this tender. In addition, a separate appendix outlines the existing measurement equipment that will be installed and utilized within the new chamber. The chamber will be constructed within the Sähkötalo building, in the F-wing. The chamber is effectively located at the ground-floor level, allowing convenient access through large doors. This facilitates the transportation and installation of sizeable chamber components and measurement equipment. The selected supplier will be required to conduct a site survey promptly after contract signing. The purpose of the survey is to verify all relevant dimensions, environmental conditions, and technical details necessary for the design and installation of the chamber. Access to the site during the renovation phase will require coordination with the main construction contractor (details are provided after the contract has been signed). It is expected that participation in a mandatory construction site safety training (approximately one hour) will be required prior to site access. At the time of issuing this tender, the specified area within Sähkötalo is undergoing renovation. The renovation is scheduled for completion by the end of April 2027. Consequently, construction of the anechoic chamber is expected to commence at the beginning May 2027, subject to the completion of renovation works and in the absence of unforeseen delays. The anticipated construction period for the chamber is during spring-summer 2027. Budget Available: Please note maximum budget available for this procurement is no greater than 500.000 € (EUR, excl. VAT).1105601 UiO Life Sciences user equipment. K936.04.01 Automated pipetting and sorting system for zebrafish embryos, eggs and larvae
