WHODjiboutiDeadline: Aug 31The Philippines is among the countries most vulnerable to the impacts of climate change, facing increasing risks from extreme heat, typhoons, flooding, sea-level rise, and other climate-related hazards. These hazards have significant implications for public health, including increased injuries and deaths, climate-sensitive diseases, food and water insecurity, and disruptions to essential health services. A comprehensive Climate and Health Vulnerability and Adaptation (V&A) Assessment is needed to identify priority climate-sensitive health risks, vulnerable populations, geographic hotspots, and health system gaps. The assessment will provide the evidence base for targeted adaptation actions, investment planning, and the development of climate-resilient health systems at national and subnational levels.
