MK plans to hold a competition for a turnkey contract for the delivery and laying of intake pipelines for the municipality ́s new waterworks and back-up water source (E4). Modum municipal waterworks supplies approx. 10,000 persons and the intake shall have a capacity of 90 l/s. The intake for the reserve water source shall be in Bergsjø at Geithus in Modum. Bergsjø is immediately located downstream of Tyrifjorden in drammensvassdraget. The turnkey contract is intended to include delivery and laying of intake pipelines, complete including intake and any diving and underwater works. The interface will be at the raw water pump station. We would like feedback from relevant contractors and suppliers before the competition is announced with this RFI - Request for information. MK would like to get feedback from the market about interested suppliers/contractors, possible systems and products and will assess adapting their tender documentation to the systems the market can offer.
