Rothe House: Archive and Collections Project
This project will increase public access to the collections, archives and stories of Kilkenny through the creation of a visible collections store, enhanced archive facilities and improved research access within Rothe House. The existing Collection Store will be transformed from a closed storage area into a publicly accessible visible-storage space incorporating museum-standard storage bays, integrated object display areas, accessible drawers and a public research workspace. Museum-grade marmoleum flooring will be installed and new storage systems provided to improve both collection care and visitor access. A new public reading room will be created incorporating museum-standard archive shelving, storage and integrated display areas for material from the Kilkenny Archaeological Society library and archives. The project will also provide environmental monitoring equipment for the Collection Store, Reading Room and archive storage areas, plus photographic lightbox equipment and website infrastructure to support the ongoing digitisation of collections. Invitation to market dialogue - New digital depot for Oslo kommune Oslo municipality shall establish a fully fledged digital depot for Oslo, with the necessary systems for operation and administration. A complete digital depot is included in this the context IT infrastructure, management systems and other software, routines and processes connected to reception, processing, preservation and presentation of digital archive material. This shall ensure reliable long-term storage and access to digital documentation, as well as facilitate data sharing between the City Archive, Oslo municipality ́s entities and other relevant groups. The depot shall also support effective depot management and fulfil the requirements for safety, traceability and verifiability. The city archive in Oslo municipality manages the municipality ́s digital documentation, but currently has not sufficient infrastructure or capacity for management and sharing of digital documentation in accordance with the law and regulations in the area or the need in the municipality. It's Big lag in the municipality on the transfer of digital documentation from the municipality ́s entities and districts to Byarkivet. The City Council of Oslo municipality would like to focus on digitalisation. In order to reach the city council's ambitions on safe management and reuse of data, the municipality must have a system for manage, give access to and share documentation over time, also – a digital city archive. Competition for the procurement of a case and archive system.
The Norwegian Directorate for Management and Financial Management (DFØ) invites tenderers to a negotiated procedure for a contract for the provision of services related to the case and archive system. DFØ is the government ́s trade body for financial management, good decision basis for government initiatives, organisation and management in the state, as well as procurements in the public sector and administration of the government ́s joint procurement agreements. The company also provides joint services within wages and accounts, as well as employer support to government entities. DFØ has overall responsibility for development within its disciplines. The objective of the procurement is to cover DFØ ́s need for a future orientated system for case handling and archiving. The current system is based on Acos WebSak as a locally installed (on-premise) system operated by DFØ. The system currently supports relatively simple case processing, whilst a significant part of the archiving occurs through integrations with other systems and national joint components. DFØ needs to procure a modern system delivered as a service (SaaS), where the tenderer is responsible for the operation, management and further development. The system shall support efficient and secure case processing and archiving, as well as be able to be integrated with relevant internal systems and national joint components. The procurement will be carried out as a negotiated procedure, cf. the current rules for public procurements.
