One of the decisions from this KVU was to close the treatment facilities at Bekkevika and Vårnes and transfer the sewage water from these plants to the upgraded treatment facility at Vallø.

Er betreibt in Hinwil eine Kehrichtverwertungsanlage (KVA) zur thermischen Verwertung von Siedlungsabfällen aus rund 365'000 Haushalten sowie aus Industrie und Gewerbe. Bedingt durch den geplanten Neubau einer Waagen-Anlage müssen auf dem KEZO-Gelände sowohl die Strassen- und Verkehrsführung als auch die Werkleitungen entsprechend angepasst werden. Die hiermit ausgeschriebenen Bauleistungen umfassen u.a.:• Rückbau von Belägen, Mauern und Randabschlüssen• Grabenaushub für Werkleitungen, Erstellung und Anpassungen von Werkleitungsanlagen• Erstellung und Anpassung der Entwässerungsanlagen für die neuen Verkehrsflächen• Erdarbeiten und Aushub für den Einbau der Waagen• Belagsarbeiten für neue und anzupassende Verkehrsflächen Die Arbeiten finden auf dem Werksgelände der KEZO statt. Die auf dem Gelände befindliche Keh-richtverwertungsanlage (KVA) sowie die Anlage der ZAV Recycling (ZAVRe) bleiben während der gesamten Bauzeit in Betrieb. Der Anlagenbetrieb darf durch die Bauarbeiten nicht behin-dert/beeinträchtigt werden. Die Fahrwege der LKWs für die Kehrichtanlieferung und die Reststoff-abholung müssen während der gesamten Bauzeit gewährleistet sein. Die Arbeiten erfolgen daher in Etappen und bei laufendem Betrieb bzw. Verkehr. Desweiteren sind die hiermit ausgeschriebenen Leistungen mit den Arbeiten von Nebenunternehmern zu koordinieren.
