The United Nations Office at Nairobi (UNON) invites suitably qualified and authorised firms to submit Expression of Interest (EOI) to participate in the upcoming competitive bidding exercise for the supply, delivery, installation, testing, training, and maintenance of new printing machinery and maintenance of existing equipment at the UNON printshop in Gigiri, Nairobi Kenya. UNON is seeking an all-inclusive or “turnkey” solution for the following requirements that may include supply, delivery, installation, testing and training of the following: • Object benchtop UV flatbed printing equipment; • Powder applicator and conveyor curing dryer system; • Dual plate heat press equipped with an add-on projection alignment system; and • 80W Co2 Laser cutting and engraving equipment. Associated services required for the newly installed (as listed above) and existing digital prinitng equipment ( DTO- Roland Versa Object- MO-240 and DTF- Roland Versa Studio- BY- 20) currently in operation at the UNON printshop may inlcude: • Delivery, installation, testing, and commissioning of the equipment; • Operator training and knowledge transfer; • Preventive and corrective maintenance services; • Technical support and after-sales services; and • Supply of consumables and spare parts. The contract resulting from a tendering exercise that will be undertaken subsequent to this REOI is anticipated to be awarded for an initial period of three (3) years with the option to extend for additional two (2) periods of one (1) years each. UN SecretariatKenyaDeadline: Sep 03UNON seeks the services of a skilled and qualified multidisciplinary vendor to refurbish the communications tower and associated building. The comunications tower is a self supporting lattice tower of about 70 meters high, constructed in 2010 together with the communcations building. Both facilities host and support RF-based services, including HF, VHF, UHF, C-band, microwave, mobile network, satellite and radio equipment and related services. These systems are critical to emergency communications, air dispatch, vehicle fleet continuity and hosted mobile services. Since construction, the tower and building have remained in continuous use, with no significant maintenance works undertaken. Refurbishment has been identified as the preferred option, as it addresses the structural and safety complaince issues while maintaining ongoing operations. The above assignment is to be undertaken it two phases namely: 1) Phase 1 (Technical Assessment and Design): This will include undertaking a technical assessment, design validation of the tower, building and related infrastructure and refurbishment design and implementation plan. 2) Phase 2 (Construction Works): this will include the implementation of the approved scope of refurbishment works on the tower, comms building and related infrastrucure. UNON will review the technical report submitted by the vendor at the close of phase 1, and progression to phase 2 will be subject to UNON's approval of scope and confirmation of technical and financial feasibility. The Contracting Authority proposes creation of a qualification panel for the Supply, Installation and Annual Maintenance of EV Chargers for Buses. During the Term, when a requirement arises under this procurement process, suppliers on the Qualification Panels who have been deemed suitably qualified may be invited to submit a tender for such requirements. Each tender process conducted off this qualification panel will require a turnkey solution for the supply and installation of electric vehicle charging infrastructure for optimal charging of future electric buses.
