Tender description
Dublin City Council seeks to establish a Multi Party Framework Agreement for 4 Lots for the provision of machinery maintenance and repair services for a period of four years. The Framework Agreement will be established with 4 economic operators. The framework consists of approximately 300 pieces of machinery and equipment located at Park and Landscape Services Divisions works depots throughout the administrative area of Dublin City Council. The estimated annual spend is between €600,000 and €700,000 which includes labour and parts. This information is given as a guide only and DCC do not guarantee any volume of business arising out of contracts awarded through this process. Tenderers may apply for one or more lots Lot 1 – Agricultural Tractors Repair and maintenance as required of Agricultural tractors, mainly Massey Ferguson, Ursus, and Ford, Farmtrac, New Holland, SAME and Landini up to 90 horsepower (approx). Lot 2 - Grass Mowers/Compact Tractors Repair and maintenance as required of Compact Tractors and Ride-on mowers; mainly Kubota and John Deere models 18 horsepower to 30 horsepower approximately. Grass mowers include all types of grass mower such as pedestrian propelled rotary mowers, self propelled rotary/cylinder/flail mowers, tractor drawn rotary and gang cylinder mowers. Lot 3 – Handheld Equipment Repair and maintenance as required of chainsaws, strimmers, hedgecutters and other hand held equipment Lot 4 - General Equipment Includes all types of cultivators, fertiliser distributors, sprayers, chippers, trailers, beach cleaner, and other items used in parks development and maintenance. The objective of this CFT is to establish a framework agreement for the provision of Pest Control Services to the Housing Strategy, Capital and Maintenance Directorate of Limerick City and County Council with one single supplier appointed. The successful tenderer will be required to provide pest control services on a planned and reactive basis in relation to the following: rodents (rats and mice), flies, insects, aphids and as necessary, birds and feral cats but not limited to these pests. Rodenticides will only be permitted for use when absolutely necessary and must be applied in line with the 2019 regulations in Ireland regarding the use of rodenticides.
