ELIA start een Europese aanbestedingsprocedure met als doel een raamovereenkomst te sluiten voor de levering van telecomkasten binnen ELIA's elektrische onderstations. De reikwijdte van deze aanbesteding is strikt beperkt tot de levering van gestandaardiseerde kastoplossingen, ontworpen om telecommunicatie-, controle- en datacommunicatieapparatuur te ondersteunen ter ondersteuning van beschermings-, monitoring- en operationele systemen over het transmissienetwerk. Installatie, montage ter plaatse en gerelateerde werken zijn expliciet uitgesloten van de scope. De aanbestedingsprocedure is gestructureerd in één Lot, die het volledige scala aan kabinetconfiguraties omvat die door ELIA worden vereist. Meer details zullen worden verstrekt in de aanbestedingsdocumenten. De raamovereenkomst stelt ELIA in staat om afroepopdrachten te plaatsen voor de levering van kasten aan bestaande en toekomstige onderstations. Bestellingen kunnen worden geplaatst door ELIA of door vooraf gekwalificeerde aannemers namens ELIA, die doorgaans verantwoordelijk zijn voor de installatiewerkzaamheden ter plaatse.
