Das Teilprojekt Z02 - PABIDAL (Participation and Belonging in Different Areas of Life) hat zum Ziel, die Bedingungen, Mechanismen und Folgen von Teilhabe und Zugehörigkeit in zentralen Lebensbereichen empirisch zu untersuchen. Dabei werden insbesondere familiale, schulische sowie weitere organisationale Kontexte berücksichtigt. Im Rahmen von Z02 wird eine bundesweit angelegte, repräsentative Panelbefragung von Kindern und Jugendlichen in zwei Alterskohorten (8-9 Jahre; 13-14 Jahre) durchgeführt. Die Studie ist längsschnittlich angelegt und umfasst mehrere Erhebungswellen. Zwei dieser Erhebungswellen liegen in der ersten, bereits genehmigten Förderphase, die übrigen sind für die nächsten beiden Förderphasen unter dem Vorbehalt der Weiterförderung des SFB geplant. Ziel ist es, Entwicklungsverläufe von Teilhabe- und Zugehörigkeitserfahrungen sowie deren institutionelle und organisationale Einbettung zu analysieren. Die Datenerhebung erfolgt multimodal, um eine hohe Ausschöpfung und methodische Robustheit zu gewährleisten. Ergänzend ist eine Elternbefragung vorgesehen.
