This tender relates to the purchase of a mobile Cleaning In Place (CIP) system and a centralized pH System for the demonstrator-scale acetone production plant, representing the primary outcome of the PYROCO2 project. The PYROCO2 project is a prestigious European Innovation Action type project, funded in 2021 under EU's first round of calls for proposals in support of the European Green Deal. The project has twenty partners from eleven countries, including DTU and process engineering partner Bioprocess Technology SL (BPT, Spain), as well as SINTEF AS (SINTEF, Norway) as the PYROCO2 project coordinator. Any questions regarding the tender might include consultations with other partners than DTU. The main goal of the project is to demonstrate at scale the biotechnological production of acetone by using hydrogen and carbon dioxide gasses as main feedstocks. The main deliverable of the project is the construction and operation of a demonstrator-scale chemical production facility at Herøya Industrial Park, Porsgrunn, Norway, and demonstration of industrial CO2-based acetone production at TRL7 with an annual production capacity of approx. 300 tons.
