Releases 0.17.25 to 0.18.41: Documents as a ZIP, sector suggestions and dependable delivery

Releases 0.17.25 through 0.18.41 shipped in June. Much of it is about reliability: emails that did not arrive, warnings that were never sent, and public pages that stayed empty.

Documents

The "Documents" tab is split into sections, original documents from the publication, files you uploaded yourself, and AI-generated documents, with a clear state when there is nothing. New is the download of all documents as a ZIP bundle, showing the file count and total size; the bundle is available on the paid plans.

If documents are missing, "Report missing documents" opens a prepared ticket that already contains the title, identifier, address of the notice, the source and the current document count. The button sits in the section header, in the empty state and in the top bar.

Suggesting matching sectors

After the fourth notice you view, the app suggests the sectors that match, derived from the notices actually opened, weighted by frequency and recency. The suggestions come pre-selected and move into the saved search profile on confirmation. Dismiss the prompt and it does not come back.

Organization network

The network can be filtered by topics and sectors; the map recomputes the surroundings accordingly. The toggles in the legend now actually filter, until now, connections to the central organization were always drawn regardless, which made the map look unchanged.

Visually: nodes are coloured by role, edges have a direction and light up on selection, award and bid relationships point away from the contracting authority, and the controls including the minimap were redesigned.

Delivery and API

Outgoing emails now run through a queue with automatic retries. If a send fails, it is retried instead of being lost silently.

Two concrete faults around this: anyone who deleted a Slack or Teams webhook had search agents still pointing at the removed entry, after which they quietly fell back to email only, the references are now deleted along with it. And the warnings about expiring API keys (30, 14 and 1 day ahead) were not delivered; they arrive now.

API keys have their own limits per minute, day and week. Responses carry the remaining quota in the headers, and exceeding a limit produces a clear refusal stating when it resets.

Search and navigation

Global search no longer sits in the header but as its own item in the sidebar. When a search profile is opened, the locations are taken from the profile once; after that only what is in the address bar counts, clearing the location filter really does give you all locations. The topic selection in a search agent is limited to the sectors active for the organization.

Public site

The public notice and topic pages intermittently showed "no tenders" although the data was there. They now source their content reliably, similar notices included. Notices dated in the future no longer sit at the top of every list for weeks either.

The home page shows a "Latest tenders" section with a direct route to each page. The features page gained a visible FAQ area, and the English pages no longer point at their German counterparts as the original, which had pushed them out of the English search index.

Pages load noticeably faster: self-hosted font files, modern image formats, less deferred JavaScript and cached evaluations. After a deployment, a stale cache heals within minutes instead of a day.

Additional changes

• Sort orders that previously triggered a server error work again
• Topic labels are refreshed regularly instead of being read once at startup
• The "updating in the background" note is gone from the result list
• Saving a label on a notice gives feedback
• Sitemaps are split by publication age, stay under the limit and actively submit new notices to Google
