Transport Infrastructure Ireland (TII) is Ireland’s national agency responsible for planning, developing and managing major transport infrastructure, including the National Road Network and Luas light rail. TII delivers and maintains key transport projects with government departments and local authorities to support economic growth and regional connectivity. TII applies an integrated, whole-life asset management approach aligned with the ISO 55000 series to support the sustainable, safe and cost-effective stewardship of Ireland’s National Road Network and active travel infrastructure. In response to climate risks, asset deterioration and funding pressures, TII has developed an Asset Management Policy, Strategy and Framework and Asset Management Plans grounded in risk-based, data-driven principles to optimise performance, minimise whole-life costs and enhance network resilience. www.tii.ie/assetmanagement. TII operates mature Pavement, Structures and Tunnels asset management systems and intends to further align systems, processes and reporting with ISO 55001. New Pavement and Structures asset management systems will be procured. Existing tunnel asset management functionality will remain within TII's current platform. The proposed RAMS environment shall support integration of tunnel inventory, condition and performance information for strategic asset management, lifecycle planning and investment decision-making purposes. TII intends to procure an Asset Management Technical Services Contract, including the provision of one or more Asset Management Software Systems, to support strategic, tactical and operational management of the National Road Network.
