The Tidal Zones River Bridge Project consists of crossing points over the Suir, Nore, Blackwater, Boyne, Slaney and Glyde rivers. This appointment is being put in place to consider the crossing points which are managed and funded by the Department of Transport in conjunction with the relevant Local Authorities. The Department of Transport is funding a bridge inspection program for each of the selected bridges along the Tidal Zone areas with a view of establishing the following: - The structural condition of each of the structures - Establishing a load rating on specific bridges - Identifying what maintenance work would be required (if any) on each of the bridges - Establish a maintenance plan for the bridges The bridges within the remit of this project are as follows: ID, County, Bridge BR-S001, Waterford, Rice Bridge BR-S002, Kilkenny, Fiddown Bridge BR-S003, Tipperary, Dillon Bridge BR-S004, Tipperary, Old Bridge BR-S010, Tipperary, Workhouse Bridge BR-N001, Kilkenny, Inistiogue Bridge STR_001, Waterford, Avonmore Bridge STR_002, Louth, St. Mary’s Bridge STR_003, Louth, Haymarket Bridge STR_004, Louth, Bridge of Peace STR_010, Wexford, Wexford Bridge STR_011, Wexford, Deeps Bridge STR_014, Wexford, Enniscorthy Bridge STR_015, Louth, Annagassan Bridge The appointed consultants will be responsible for delivering detailed surveys, inspection reports, recommendation reports, and additional reporting as outlined in the Project Brief for each of the bridges identified.

The contract is for the operation and maintenance of the foot and cycle bridge "Småpudden". Smallpudden bridge is a flap bridge over Damsgårdssundet in Bergen, which can be opened for boat traffic. This is an important route for foot and cycle and it is important that it works at all times. NTNU shall enter into a framework agreement for the inspection and maintenance of a gas alarm system for NTNU ́s buildings in Trondheim. The delivery and place of work for the deliveries will be NTNU in Trondheim. See Annex 1c Site Overview for a more detailed description of the different installations, including location and type. The framework agreement includes the following works: Annual inspections The annual inspection includes two meetings, in one turn, a check of the gas warning system + one calibration is carried out in the second turn-out, only one calibration will be carried out. Maintenance Maintenance means repairs, replacements and improvements of deviations (errors and shortcomings) on the installations in order for them to function as intended. See the requirement specifications for a comprehensive description of the delivery. Focus Housing Association CLG (the “Contracting Authority”) provides the housing function to the Homeless Charity Focus Ireland. Focus Ireland is one of the largest housing and homeless organisations in Ireland providing services for people who are homeless or at risk of homelessness. The charity was founded by Sr Stanislaus Kennedy as a result of research into the needs of homeless women in Dublin. Focus Ireland works with people who are homeless or at risk of losing their homes. Their main areas of operation include Dublin, Cork, Limerick, Kilkenny, Sligo, Kildare, Carlow, Tipperary, Wexford, Waterford and Clare. The Contracting Authority now wishes to seek that are suitable for development / completion for social housing. This expression of interest is the first stage in a competitive procedure with negotiation. This stage of the process will consist of an assessment of the suitability of applicants to participate in the process. Those applicants who are deemed suitable will then be invited to participate in the negotiation stage of the process. It is the intention of Focus Housing Association to acquire the freehold interest of completed developments. Inception Report: The first deliverable will be an inception report that outlines the methodology and planning for the surveys. This report is aimed at establishing a clear framework for survey approaches, data collection, analysis as well as Midline and Endline report structure. Work on this report is set to commence in August 2026, ensuring adequate preparation and planning for the subsequent phases of the project. Regarding the qualitative data collection approach, the contracts should specify a qualitative method applicable to the indicators. The proposed methods may include Key Informant Interviews (KIIs), Focus Group Discussions (FGDs), and direct observation during site visits - are deployed in sequence across the three phases of data collection. Data is analysed thematically and triangulated with quantitative findings before results are finalised Moreover, the contractor will establish a comprehensive, verified, and evidence-based data collection that accurately measures employment, local value addition, export market performance, sustainability certification, MSME processing capacity and IAF service improvement across all targeted indicators. 2. Midline Assessment Report: The second deliverable will be a comprehensive mid-term assessment report, which will evaluate the progress and indicators achievement of the project to date. This report is expected to be finalized and submitted in the fourth quarter of 2026. It will include detailed findings, insights, and recommendations that will guide any necessary adjustments to the project's approach. 3. Endline Assessment Report: The final work package involves delivering a project end-term assessment report, expected in the fourth quarter of 2028. This report will conduct an in-depth analysis of the indicators" achievement, impact and effectiveness of the EU-German CAPSAFE intervention throughout the entire execution period.
