Helsinki City Theatre is renovating the big stage’s engineering equipment and mechanical systems. The contract includes replacing 33 powered counterweight assist hoists with new direct lift hoists, adding 22 moveable point hoists, installing a new cyclorama lighting hoist, replacing variable speed drives (102 overstage, 9 understage axes), providing a new control system, removing redundant equipment, and performing remedial works to the grid floor. Design and supervision are excluded. Detailed scope is in the Invitation to Tender.
