The subject of this tender is the supply of hotel-guesthouse accommodation in Marsaskala for approximately one hundred (100) rooms on a bed and breakfast (BnB) basis. Between one hundred fifty (150) and one hundred sixty (160) Douzelage delegates will be in Malta to attend the Tackling Domestic Violence in the Local Community under the Citizens, Equality, Rights and Values Programme (CERV) of the European Commission. The project focuses on the collaboration of towns from twenty-six (25) member states covering most of the EU. This programme will be a collaboration of the Douzelage members which is one of the largest town twinning associations in Europe. The place of acceptance of the supplies shall be at Marsaskala, the time-limits for the execution of the contract shall be between Thursday 3rd and Sunday 6th September 2026.

Sept.In the scope of the Regulation (EU) 2023/588 of the European Parliament and of the Council of 15 March 2023 establishing the Union Secure Connectivity Programme for the period 2023- 2027, the European Commission has signed a 12-year Concession Contract on 126 December 2024 for the development, the deployment and the operation of the Infrastructure for Resilience, Interconnectivity and Security by Satellite (IRIS²) programme. IRIS² consists in 264 LEO satellites, 18 MEO satellites and a ground infrastructure to be deployed by 2030 which aim at providing a secure, low-latency connectivity to EU Members States, Governmental users and Commercials users with a worldwide coverage. The programme will be split in 4 phases: 1. Phase 1: Supply chain consolidation This maximum 1-year phase will enable the IRIS² Concessionaire to finalise suppliers’ selection. This should also allow the creation of a Special Purpose Vehicle to handle the Concession Contract until its end in 12 years. 2. Phase 2: Development phase This 2-year phase will be mainly dedicated to the design and the development of the infrastructure. 3. Phase 3: Deployment phase This phase is expected to last 3 years and will be dedicated to the industrialisation, production and launch of the infrastructure. 4. Phase 4: Operation phase The rest of period of 12 years will consist in operating the IRIS² infrastructure and providing services. During these 4 phases, the European Commission will supervise the Concessionaire’s activities and collaborate with it to ensure the proper execution of the Concession Contract respecting the contractual performances, cost and schedule of IRIS². The services shall support the effective, coherent and visible delivery of programme activities, reinforce coordination among implementing partners and stakeholders, and contribute to the sustainability of the regional maritime security architecture. It shall cover five interlinked objectives: 1. To ensure effective coordination, supervision and coherence of actions implemented at programme level, including complementarity and synergies among implementing partners. 2. To strengthen effective ownership of programme activities at country and regional level. 3. To strengthen coordination and cooperation between regional and national partners and the Regional Coordination Operations Centre (RCOC) and Regional Maritime Information Fusion Centre (RMIFC). 4. The University also organises commissioned degree-awarding education. Curricula are drawn up for approximately 110 degree programmes, one doctoral school, the Language Centre and several professional specialisation education programmes. Currently valid curricula contain roughly 2,800 study modules and 10,000 courses. Department of Culture Communications SportKillarneyThe Creative Climate Action Fund III (2026-2029) is a key deliverable for the Creative Climate Action and Sustainability pillar of the Creative Ireland Programme. This fund seeks to build on the premise that transformational action on climate change requires cultural change throughout society, and with the ambition to utilise the potential of the arts, creativity and heritage to inspire and empower the culture change needed to transform to a net zero Ireland by 2050. A key finding of the evaluation of the first fund was the need for training and development of project leaders to ensure that this investment realises the object of building enduring capacity in the sector. There will be organisations from different sectors in receipt of the grant funding including: arts and cultural organisations, local authorities, research institutions, environmental groups and community development organisations. We envisage that there will be up to 15 projects funded. These projects teams have a good knowledge of climate action. However, a consistency of understanding of the policy objectives and best-practice methods of project delivery will be essential to the success of the fund.
