Die Universität Helsinki vergibt Bildungsdienstleistungen für ihre rund 110 Studiengänge, eine Doktorandenschule, das Sprachenzentrum und verschiedene Fachweiterbildungsprogramme. Der Umfang umfasst die Erstellung von Curricula für ca. 2.800 Studienmodule und 10.000 Kurse. Für das akademische Jahr 2024–2025 wurden etwa 12.000 Kurse umgesetzt. Die Studiengänge umfassen Bachelor-, Master/Lizentiat-, Lizentiat- und Doktorprogramme, die in finnischen, schwedischen, englischen oder mehrsprachigen Varianten angeboten werden können. Ein koordinierender Fakultätsverantwortlicher leitet das Programm gemeinsam mit einer Steuerungsgruppe.
